No, what he needs is a portable media device. 100$ or less and he can leave text, picture, video, music. Then someone just needs to add power and turn it on.
Can it sing the whole song without messing up so we all win the big prize?
or doesnt anyone remember getting a record with their bigmac all those years ago...
Damn, I don't even want to know where you buy/develope your film!
I live practically in the middle of nowhere, if I actually drive the 30 miles to the nearest photo place, however. Disposable Camera, 3$... 25 photo's, double prints.. 4.99...
Cost for 10 Digital Prints. 7$ 20 prints? 14$...
So the digital is a lot more expensive than the conventional...
The logo for their cards looks just like an nvidia logo, tilted sideways a few degrees, with a blue top, and the Cingular wireless guy stamped on the bottom in red?
They couldnt even come up with their own logo so they borrowed from everyone else? This says a lot for their business model...
Getting those worthless Best Buy bucks in the monopoly contest, were gonna get even more worthless song coupons! What a wonderful way to avoid giving away prizes people might actually want at a restaurant, LIKE FOOD.
It's Americans', not Americans. As he's expressing possesion of the spelling. I'm sure he also meant these-days. Since the rules on a dash in the middle of a word allow you to place one if you are unsure, there is nothing gramatically wrong with that statement. Your grammer was worse, since you started a sentance with maybe.
Pricescan.com has them for $14, no rebates needed... otherwise... um... lets see, this weeks sale says....ah, one for 19.. one for 15...
Have to walk into a Best Buy store for those, cant order them online... Can view the store fliers online though if that helps. Guess the 9.99 ended with last weeks:(
Soon as I remember the name of the other store I'll post it.:( Gotta peek throught this pile of newspapers to find the ad again.
$9.99 at one store, and $5.49 at the other... is it really that much of a pain to just go get a different one? That's actually up to standards?
I bought one of these 2 weeks back for $9.99. Now they're back up to $19.99.
They paid the 10$ diffence in store, no mail in. The 5.49 was someplace else, dun remember where. Cash card for, 30$ I think... to cover the price difference.
Wow, 4 new CD-RW drives... that musta cost a whole.. um...
(/me opens up a Best Buy weekly sale flier)
Wow.. 22$.. your out a whole pile of money. Darn?
52x CD-RW drives have been on sale for $9.99, and then, $5.49. Instant rebate in store. Sometimes paid as a cash card to be used later. But still, nothing to whine about. Sheesh.
And this is in Wisconsin for gods sake! The A-hole of technological society!
I wander door to door, when called, town to town, fixing up computers, vcr's... occasional tv or stereo, and there's one thing I've always noticed when I'm in these houses, the tv channel their on.
Occasionaly, but rarely, it'll be a sporting event, on satellite or cable. Sometimes, more often, it will be a soap.. or some pointless dribble. 90%, its either Cartoons, or the Disney channel, even if there's no kids in the house!. The other 2% or so are watching either the history channel, or the discovery channel.
So basically, people are still watching, they're just watching things they like, rather than the NBC, CBS, ABC pointless crap reality shows.
"Copyright infringement is not theft, because it does not involve taking something off the victim, but instead making an unauthorised copy of something he owns.
Absolutely wrong."
And your an Absolute moron. If the person who makes/downloads the copy of the song, never, ever would have paid money for it in a million years, they are not stealing it. They didnt take any money from the artist because the artist never would have gotten money from them. If they couldnt get it for free, they wouldnt have it.
Ah.. hellloooooo...
RTFA...
They say you will be able to swipe your prefered customer card and the cart will bring up items you've purchased before. Also, you can check out items by scanning them into the cart!
This means the cart has to connect to the central computer, and it has to be updatable in case they change prices, sales adds.. etc.
Your obvoiusly not going to walk around the store with an ethernet cable tethering you to the main office, so they'll put in a wireless networking connection...
Bring in your wireless gear... try enough times as you wander around, and you'll probably be able to override whatevers programmed into them.
If they'd just make the swivel, tablet pc turn it around and lock it screen on powerful laptops, the kind people use to do processor hungry work, and destop replacment computers, they might actually sell a few more!
Think about it this way. You buy your new 3.4Ghz fully loaded laptop with everything, and it has the tablet style swivel around lock flat screen. Work on the road for a while like normal. Bring it home, flip the screen around, put it on a stand like its just a monitor, plug in keyboard and mouse, maybe a docking station. Boom, instant desktop, no fuss, no mess?
They hacked other mail-servers to send mail for them so it couldnt be traced back to them...
Ah... wait a minute... I thought they were selling a physical object... a book on spamming.. which means they would have to have some place to be billed, and also a way to actually mail the book...
Hmmm... guess we cant trace credit card purchases, balance transfers.. or US mail anymore.. wow. Musta been real hard to track down?
You can download it from the huge picture link and word "DOWNLOAD" right on suse's website.
But it wont be up for download for a week or 2 more, till they get some initial sales and tests to make sure everything's working and they get a boost in money.
Ah.. torrent? The live-eval's already on most of the mirrors they got, right from the suse page. And anything with a.gov or a.edu gives out enough speed for me to get a copy in 12 minutes...
How they always try to blame the lack of support for NTFS, and windows not reading linux partitions, on linux?
Wouldn't this be Windows fault for not bothering to admit there are other operatating systems in the world that people might need to use now and then?
End over end just like in the article. No damage at all, no repairs needed. It feel when a strap on a case ripped, taking the zipper with it, the laptop flipping between peoples feet as it fell.
It was a Toshiba... Satellite 1805.
Once again, Lets all send them an email to all these addresses, which are all set with , and all to be copied and pasted. If they get an email dos attack, they cant really say people want the service, now can they?

If you cancel within 30 days you return the phone, not keep it.

Be nice if they actually reviewed the nice processor. After all, this is slashdot. If your gonna go 64 bit, might as well go all the way?
