UW (and UW2 of course) rock. Nothing beats downing mushrooms then throwing some cheese at goblins.
Seriously, most games nowadays lack the depth of Underworld. Example: It allowed you to take notes on the map. This little feature is so useful for playing the game, then coming back months later and not knowing what you were doing. Good God - I wish Diablo had stolen that idea from 1992.
This is one of my all time favorite books. It's got that British sense of humor(humour?)... and well, I don't want to give away the ending. Damnit just read it!

Being that your nick is Guy Fawkes, you probably would try to fly the jet into the senate. Got to love Britians admirimation of an attempted assassin.
Thanks, you insensitive clod! I had blocked out the previous existance of Packard Bell computers. Now, I am going to have to go back to therapy. I think there is an E-Machines session next door if anyone is interested.
So let me get this straight, a Marine with low id making an insightful AND ontopic comment on Slashdot (note: this slam is for slashdot NOT drewpc)?
What kind of bizzarro slashdot is this? Maybe next someone will have a rational and non-inflamatory converstation about how maybe sometimes Microsoft is a usable choice.
Most manufacturers wouldn't won't to present milage in a bad light. So, gas milage is probably always calculated with the least drag (windows up) and a/c off. So while I doubt they have to report milage with the top down, that would be interesting to know.
Second, convertibles on average will get worse gas milage. They are not as smooth and are heavier (to add support for since the frame doesn't wrap fully around).
but, no one buys a convertiable to save on gas. And if you bought a Geo convertiable, 'the hell's wrong with you?
Dennis the Mennis comic strips had certain words bolded for emphasis, but as a kid I always read them together thinking they said something. Sadly nothing good came out of it, or from reading the strip period, or from writing this reply for that matter, or reading slashdot...
Yea, I was at a Beethoven concert once. "Woot! Play the 9th!" -- Man, got that performance on my DAT (or was it an iPod, I was so crunked on Absinthe I don't remember). but, F*ck! The lines to latrene were long.
Yea, and the older legos didn't usually have guns for the figures or vehicles. So, headlights, V-shaped blocks, flashlights, camcorders, even those lame walk-talkies had to improvised weapons.
Back when SGI's best people split and left to form 3DLABS (or NVIDIA - Forget which. I am sure someone out there will point out that I could have looked it up, but I don't care - my point is still valid), the heads at SGI didn't want to sell just a Video Card. So all those talented people decided to leave and make globs of money (and my 6800 and I thank them!). SGI only wanted to sell their overly priced 100% solution. And by the time they did sell PCs, it was overpriced and way too late.
And the cartriage format is one of the reason Square jumped ship from Nintendo to Playstation. It would have just been REALLY expensive to buy a FF7 for the N64. They finally came back with Crystal Chronicals and the FinalFantasy Tatics for Gameboy (yea, I know where THAT came from)... but the old days are gone. Rest in peace nameless Red Armored guy (and you're little friend who kind of looks like Orko).

On the plus side, the 360 has a much warmer sound.

Ahh... a good MST3K quote (old-school at that) on slashdot. Now my life has come full-circle. Admittedly, it's not that big of a circle.

"Funny" mod?
Should have been modded lucid discernment.

In Iran, only Old Men read ISNA.

I thought the first rule of the EULA was not to talk about the EULA (so there IS a rule /. obeys).
Luckily I bought the "HellaFast". It's hella-cool y'all!
