UW (and UW2 of course) rock. Nothing beats downing mushrooms then throwing some cheese at goblins.

Seriously, most games nowadays lack the depth of Underworld. Example: It allowed you to take notes on the map. This little feature is so useful for playing the game, then coming back months later and not knowing what you were doing. Good God - I wish Diablo had stolen that idea from 1992.

What kind of bizzarro slashdot is this? Maybe next someone will have a rational and non-inflamatory converstation about how maybe sometimes Microsoft is a usable choice.

Most manufacturers wouldn't won't to present milage in a bad light. So, gas milage is probably always calculated with the least drag (windows up) and a/c off. So while I doubt they have to report milage with the top down, that would be interesting to know.

Second, convertibles on average will get worse gas milage. They are not as smooth and are heavier (to add support for since the frame doesn't wrap fully around).

but, no one buys a convertiable to save on gas. And if you bought a Geo convertiable, 'the hell's wrong with you?

Back when SGI's best people split and left to form 3DLABS (or NVIDIA - Forget which. I am sure someone out there will point out that I could have looked it up, but I don't care - my point is still valid), the heads at SGI didn't want to sell just a Video Card. So all those talented people decided to leave and make globs of money (and my 6800 and I thank them!). SGI only wanted to sell their overly priced 100% solution. And by the time they did sell PCs, it was overpriced and way too late.

Rest in peace nameless Red Armored guy (and you're little friend who kind of looks like Orko).
