He went down then he came back up. Trusting what a politician says is like.. well.. trusting what a politician says.
The movie industry is just mad, because Titanic is their best selling movie ever... at the box office anyway. I bet they were hoping something would top that US$600+ MILLION dollars (US alone) now, they're pissed, because nothing has yet. Titanic made US$1.2+ BILLION in foreign box office sales alone. Who knew nobody had any taste? Well, I haven't seen it yet.. i wonder how it ends.
duh?
Okay you get the MacDonalds speed pass, are they going to offer anything special with the speed pass.. maybe a "speed bypass" for your heart condition from eating all of their sludge?
I'd like to see you install Windows 2000 on a bunch of old machines... especially Win2k Server. I tried to install it on a pentium 133 and had nothing, but mess.
Knowing the high quality of Acer products, the finger print recognition will probably work fine for about 1 week, after that, it will work every other week, then less and less. You'll have to send the laptop back to Acer to have them reset it, which will probably cost $500 per reset. My suggestion, buy a nice toshiba, install linux on it and use a nice hard bios password.
Main stream radio stations don't really take requests. I had a friend who was an intern at one of the major radio stations in Washington, DC, 98Rock. She said during the request hour, people would call up and request a bunch of songs. The Management already knew what the people were going to request, so they would just set-up their playlist accordingly. The DJ's, if you want to call them that would never really touch a disc.
I love their site.. well I would have loved it if it was 1995. I really enjoy how on the splash screen how the graphics are seperated by one pixel. Now that's professional!
I had a recruiter call me one day for a web development job at the US Post Office.. or maybe the Patent Office, I can't remember. Anyway, she said that the following skills are required: HTML, JavaScript, GUI design, FrontPage; I interrupted her after she said FrontPage, and I said that no professional developer uses that program, I am not interested in the job.
After tuning into the news for the last few years, with the insurection of geeks in schools, arrests via the DMCA, Bush's minimal support for stem cell research. The only thing I can see is a government who is trying to push it's intellectual community away. Once the members of this community get fed up with the laws that are being placed against them, the most logical course would be to move to a country which supports them. This is good for the government, because it is easier to control a ship of fools.
I love the fact that you can goto any computer store and buy a 56k modem, though it is nearly impossible to connect at 56k. I worked at an ISP in Northern Virginia, called Erols, for about 8 months (i'm sure many of you feel my pain). I never ever had a customer connect at 56k, nor have I ever connected at 56k, the fastest I have ever seen is 50k. Plus, Ma Bell (Verision in our area) only guarntees a 9600 baud connection. So I think the blame is at shitty phone lines and a crappy LEC (local exchange carrier). So FUCK you Bell, I've got cable.

Someone actually has a job, i got laid off in September, I would take just about anything now. Maybe even tech support.
Interesting .. i'm using Windows XP right now .. i don't remember ever activating it.
I already get movies on demand, via DivX ;-)
How many of us actually own one of those Aibo dogs?
Personally, I wouldn't mind paying upto a 5% tax on internet sales. I think this would help the economy out a lot.

This year more than a thousand physicists were sucked into a mini-blackhole.

Yeah, I hear that you can .. um .. rent software before you buy it on usenet, although, you are renting the software for free.
It was a trick, those were licorice jellybeans.

What's that noise, oh yeah, that's my karma fading away.

I heard that M$ gave away licenses to public schools. Is there truth behind this or am I misinformed?
I tried that program for a day, it was a peice of shit. Use an encrypted text file with your passwords if you can't remember them. Fuck gator!
Excuse me, that's properly pronounced EverCrack.
I found a crack in my ass, thankfully I can't release it due to the DCMA.
Fry: Are there an unlimited number of alternate universes?
Professor: No, just one.
