    This is NOT "off-topic". It has been unfairly
    moderated down. nVidia is part of the original
    article! I wanted to make them aware of who
    there were dealing with and tried to find a
    valid e-mail contact on their web site without
    success.

    After several years of hardly making any long
    distance calls, I did the same thing (switched
    to phone cards). If you shop around for those,
    your savings (even if you don't use the entire
    time on the card, as it will expire) is
    substantial when compared to paying a set fee
    per month (in my case, over $6). I found a place
    locally that sells 500 minute cards for about
    $15.00. In two years, I haven't finished either
    card! And for those modding, I am on topic.
    The cards can be used for INTERNATIONAL calls
    as well, although that 500 minutes domestic
    buys you about 15 minutes from the USA to UK.

    Yeah, but it was $0.19 the other day (12/15)
    and it went to $1.45 (12/28), so a tumble back
    to $0.87 is STILL up $0.68 from two weeks ago...

    FYI, the stock opened for trading on 01/08/2004
    at $0.30, and on 01/22/2004 hit $2.50. Its been
    falling ever since then, until 12/27/2004 when
    this story first hit.

    Seriously, this is a company I will stay away
    from. It might turn out that they have a
    real product, but from what I've read, and
    my experience in investing, the odds are
    this is bogus and will cost you money.

    There are a LOT better companies to invest in.
    Do some research and you'll find them (no, I
    don't give stock advice, learned that lesson
    a long time ago, same for asking for it...)

    Actually, about 291 million (figure released two
    days ago). When accounting for births and newly
    immigrated citizens - deaths, we add 1 person
    per every 26 seconds (more than 2 per minute)
    here in the good 'ole USA. So thats about 11 cents
    each, and that is JUST FOR THIS ONE THING. We
    give to every disaster, and we give when there
    is no disaster too (foreign aid). So back off!
    We give and give, and you take and take. We
    handled 911 by ourselves. Didn't ask for a dime!

    Oh, sorry to hear about your submarine...

    I hear they play games outside the U.S. sometimes...

    All told, all-things-movie (U.S. and non-U.S., theatre, rental, sales, merchandise, etc.)
    probably does still outweigh all-things-game (ditto above list), but look how far games have come!

    And don't forget the crossover (ie, games that
    become movies and movies that are made into
    games)... That should be split, somehow.

    That is why EA did this. Why the NFL did this is
    beyond me. Couldn't they have received more $
    from more companies than from just one? And

    EA's sales lead shrank over the years is because
    the other game companies produced a product
    people wanted. Now, the NFL is saying to all
    those people, "Hey, we don't care what you think.
    You will play what WE want you to play!"

    and most famous game programmers in the world.
    I remember the artsy ads featuring Bill Budge and
    others who were well known at the time and the
    whole concept of programming as an art. I wonder

    Nobody EVER mentions the votes that third-party candidates cost Bush (Libertarian, Harry Browne; Constitution Party/Independent American Party, Howard Phillips; etc.) There were SEVERAL states that Gore barely won you know! And, I'd like to point out Gore failed to carry his HOME state of Tennessee as well as Clinton's Arkansas... Nader did nothing wrong. He was allowed to run and did. If you add the votes of those other candidates to Bush in Florida, you'll see the folly of claiming you could add the Nader votes in Florida to Gore. People voted for who they wanted to win! The Nader voters liked him better than Gore! Like most other things, there could be only one winner. Despite the best efforts of the Democrat Florida Supreme Court [sic] to re-write Florida election law AFTER the election was over because they didn't like it, and the local Democrat-controlled election boards performing recounts against said law, not to mention the manufactoring of new votes by removing chads (witnessed) and the non-counting of U.S. Military votes (at Gore's request), Bush still won. Its over. Get over it. And its not like Republicans were in control of the polling places in Democrat areas. Everyone who wanted to vote did! NOBODY was disenfranchised! This whole thing is as funny as the same people who said it didn't matter that Clinton dodged the draft think Bush serving at home was wrong. LOL! No mention Bush applied for position that would have meant going to Vietnam and was turned down! Clinton running=Vietnam bad. Kerry running=Vietnam good. (HUH!?!) P.S. Here in Ohio we also have Butterfly ballots, and guess what, WE KNOW HOW TO USE THEM! ;^) Its not like brain surgery. You poke a metal thingy into a damn hole! People who can't do that, or who vote twice thinking they need to punch for Pres. and V.P. didn't know how to vote to begin with!

    this program and be okayed by you! Just click
