Surely the point is that any forces in Iraq shouldn't have weak points in their bases. These things should be locked up like Fort Knox - the British have had decades of practice in Northern Ireland against IEDs and mortars.
Fair enough, I apologise for what, appears now, to be an obvious trollish comment that I didn't think through. Sorry Linux users everywhere who took offence!
If that happens.... drumroll...... I just stop buying from iTunes, but until then I'm quite happy thanks!
If i happen to be in the sh*t and happy, then its my problem. No need for you to worry about my cute ass!
However, the collective *ahem* wisdom of this thread seems to be that DRM will be dying out in the next few years, so I think the future's bright.
True, I only venture on to iTunes to find some long-lost 80s/90s track that popped into my head, new music I still buy in-store and rip... the best of all worlds.
And with Copypod happily archiving my collection properly, the whole DRM issue is just something Linux users bleat on about.
Forgive me if I speak out of (i)tune, but the first iPods didn't do all that brilliantly, it took a good year for them to take off, if not two to hit the mainstream conciousness? I'm feeling old, so forgive me if my memory is playing tricks on me.
Zooming out of that map shows why they failed the tests, no local schools at all to educate. Or pizza deliveries during those exciting WOW signal moments... denied!
Six million people may play Warcraft but leading a story with this gibberish isn't going to help the 5billion, 994million who don't understand what the hell you're on about man! In the word of Mr. T, "Fool!"
I used to buy games and consoles for me, but now I have a young son there is added responsibility for bringing him up in a world where his exposure to video games could shape his life/mindset/values. So I want a machine that's:
Cheap - because he might break it
Fun - because the whole family is involved
Social - because he'll have friends round
Has quick games - because I'll still want him playing kickabout in the garden so he doesn't turn into a lard bucket
So that'll be a Wii then - I haven't seen an ounce of Microsoft or Sony (excluding third parties) advertising their products as a family system. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but Nintendo have this segment of the market sewn up. Sure I might get a PS3 or X360 for myself eventually but for my immediate needs, Wii will rule!
We of the Judean People's Front CAPS LOCK removal suicide squad suggest replacing the function with a double tap of the shift key to engage and disengage caps lock. The space can be taken up by a SafeSearch On/Off button for all our Google, um, research.
A feature that very nearly 20 years too late..... Back to the Future with you. I pity the poor monkey who spent whole hours developing this irrelevance!
Well I remember Spectrum Match Point taking up as much of my time as Virtua Tennis World Tour does now on my PSP, the game plays from the same angle, the only differences are range of shot selection and the replays, which are mostly skipped.
Simple games are still simple games no matter how much dressing you put on them. One thing is certain, simple games back then loaded in one go and played smoothly whereas modern games have pauses as often irrelevant content loads from disc or slowdowns where they try to force too much through a processor.
So they want people who have been staring at screens filled with code/porn/FPS action for years to concentrate on detailed images and try and spot little trails. I hope everyone's had their eyes tested recently!
Squint, squint
If condensation is a problem why not build a super-fridge around the launch tower which the Shuttle sits in until lift-off. It works in minus200deg temperatures anyway so won't get damaged and the crew can board through a proper airlock. Just pop the doors like a missle chamber at T-30 seconds and there won't be time for ice to form. Nice big vent for the exhaust gasses and flames - no worries. Get Zanussi to sponsor it - costs nothing!

3G phone version coming soon, not a problem!

Or as Fox News has put it, "Al Queda invades Washington, cattle raped, women stampeded!"

Will you believe it when Golem comes crawling out the mountains, patchy skin, missing hair, clutching his ring... One bomb to rule them all

With most UMD movies half price in stores, surely this is inventing the lock and the door, after the horse bolted - before the stable was even built?

I like AVG with the odd scan from McAfee's web based free scanner just to make sure!

This is the one film I always watch on TV at Christmas or whenever along with Raiders, true back to your childhood stuff!

All the cameras will be used for is identifying the bombers after the carnage they've caused, this is not prevention!

Why not just cover the shuttle tiles in thick wads of hundred dollar bills - it'll work out the same whatever happens!
Nope, no one burning with fear in the South! I think lots of people have burning soles of feet through some extra walking but that seems about it!
Kinda to the tune of the Lone Ranger...

Hi-ho Silver!
Sony has roughly 80% of the console market around the world so they can pretty much release it whenever they like.
