Indian outsourcing industry cannot survive based on BPO etc. The software industry in India must strive to create original products and market them aggresively.

What is it that prevents the above companies becoming licensed ? and hereby bringing the total license fee payable to the Indian govt and finally bringing joy to all !
Assume 50 million keyboards are sold.

This seems to be a good ploy to target the micro user who cannot afford to buy the full version or doesn't have use for it a long time.
I see a similarity with adobe, which launched its elements editions of its popular software photoshop for 1/10 the price with only necessary features.
What with more and more banks in India becoming online, some are truly online i.e you can do whatever you want as thought you are present physically at their branch. Security needs to be given prime importance
1) All ecommerce websites created should be certified by a TESTING authority before they are allowed to go online
2) Even after certifying The TESTING authority should carry random unannounced remote tests once every 3 months

With the advent of each new scripting language the old ones seems to go to dust

If a system can be put in place where new scripting languages like ruby php etc can take advantage of old languages and somehow integrate into them and old languages can still be used. Yes it will be an Utopian world !
1. Will this work like actual region separation. i.e an INDIAN citizen working in USA would he have free access to both INDIA and USA internet regions ?
2. Also since most of the message boards and contributions and FAQ sites and manuals were written by teams comprising of members from various countries what will be accessed by whom ? Take for example the PHP manual, it was written by programmers from many countries. so which region does the php website and documentation belong ?
Once.xxx comes to force, It will be fruitfull if legislation is enacted which forbids xxx content on all OTHER extensions.
Existing popular adult websites should be given time for changing their domain names and priority should be given for same domain names..i.e if a owner owns..blablablow.com then they automatically become the first contender for blablablow.xxx.
Google, yahoo, msn must be advised to rank the new websites on par with their old domain extensions provided the content remains the same.
Forwarding of old domains to new.xxx should be allowe d to take place until such a time when little or no traffic comes from the old domain name.

I downloaded the latest openoffice and it works 90% of the time...The rest of the time either it takes yeons to open a simple word document or just simply hangs !
But the older version of openoffice works like a charm though !

The fact that they'd want to try it in some places, monitor it's success, tune the service, before rolling out to other countries, seems pretty reasonable to me.
I'm not sure whether I'm will go with that.
They are still trying to find a way to withdraw money into banks in INDIA ! If you are a paypal user in India you need to wait atleast 28 days or even more to get your hands on your own money !
