Also, the article says: "Then their craft will parachute back to Earth, bouncing down swaddled in airbags in the outback of Australia."
Won't that screw up the mice?
Just a little update: I edited the HTML by hand so you actually get all the HTML with a lot of working links contained within itself. I also wrote a small Index page for the three pages.
I've uploaded 34.2 MB total, and each copy is 1.1 megs. That means I've distributed about 31 copies. Maybe it would have been better to mirror it the old fashion way. Ehhh, whatever, it was fun.
But I might have enough memory! Still no tips on how to fill up the memory? Actually, one time I booted Knoppix and copied a bunch of porn to my desktop and watched my 1.5G of ram fill up. That was fun:)
The speed of live CDs is becoming less of an issue as RAM sizes get
larger. On my 512Mb notebook, Knoppix runs just fine.
I wonder if there is a way to load the whole Knoppix CD into RAM just like
Damn Small Linux does.
I know that Knoppix is 699MB (I just checked) and Damn Small Linux is
only 50MB, but I was naive when I built my Windows gaming rig so I
bought 1.5 gigs of RAM:)
You've got to be careful with those mini CDs. I got a copy of Damn Small Linux on a Business Card CD stuck inside the CD-ROM drive behind the tray. This went on to break the whole CD rom drive and probably the CD.
I've never gotten any spam of that sort, but I know that it is not the same thing.
The Bow-Lingual is a plastic rectangle the size of a very big wallet that you can hang around your dog's neck. I saw one on the local news.
I'm glad they aren't including wma. The more you ignore it, the more it'll die. Ogg support would be nice, but I guess that won't happen.
We could have chosen another format, but that would have created more confusion for our customers.
So I guess that proves that Apple's customers are confused easily:)
Though I cant say that many other windows-based media players are better.
That's what I always thought too. Go download Mplayer for Windows. Works great, plays anything, fast as hell. Fool around and learn the few different keystrokes though.
That looks like a sweet player. Go loook at all the features. They include ogg support. Most people the use ogg are pretty cool and open-minded, so hopefully they'll open up what is required.
What about my mom's Mercedes? It and many other cars have a computer built into the car! It's used for GPS navigation, playing CDs and the radio. It's designed so that you barely have to look at it while driving.
This is such bullshit.
In Mozilla 1.5, win32, the link in the title bar looks like http://www.Microsoft.com[] Except it's the square charactar, not two brackets. The actual link in the address bar looks like this: http://www.microsoft.com%01%00@secunia.com/ interne t_explorer_address_bar_spoofing_test/
I've used DietK before I used Kazaa Lite, and it is very awesome. It achieves the same effect as Kazaa Lite, but instead goes on top of regular Kazaa. Give it a spin!
I do however, still recommend GiFT and Apollon for P2P, it's simply the best.
"It's funny when I talked to IBM earlier this year, before we did anything, it wasn't even clear where the IP problems were. We just said we were going to start investigating IP issues, and IBM said, 'You're just giving Bill Gates an early Christmas present.' Bill Gates? This is about our IP! What are you talking about? This was the immediate reaction at IBM and the open source guys. Unfortunately for them, it's just not reality."
It is reality. You aren't just 'investigating your IP', you are telling everyone about this as if Linux is guilty before proven innocent. If it was innocent, then infringments would be proven and facts would be set straight. Asshole.
"One transportation company said, 'We don't want to be on the wrong side of you guys on this. What do we do to get clean?'"
Again, innocent before proven guilty. The transportation company would hypothetically end up paying for another version of Unix or licensing Linux if SCO somehow proves infringment, right? Assholes.
I really like AMD, and I've heard all of the "Sun is dying and losing it's big business name" stuff. There's no way that Sun can drag them down right? This can only benefit AMD, right?
I just emailed this article to my mom downstairs. I bet I'm not the only one.
Why the hell do they need helmets?

I won't be taking it down soon by the way.

The web site is getting a little slow, so I actually made a torrent of the star wars lego pictures and pages.
:)
Download the torrent here.
This may be overkill, but at least I'll get experience. I'm hosting this shit myself, so send me some input or post back

So where's the torrent?
:)
Mod me funny or insightful or whatever, but we all know that a torrent would be really great right about now
Isn't it spelled 'sync' and not 'synch'?
I always thought that
sync = sink
synch = sinch

bittorrent it my good man! I could try hosting it...

it is not slashdotted, and the article is in the freaking headline!

Those dirty Hatians should get a life.
Oops! I talked bad about Hatians. Are they going to come chant at me from my front door?
Get yourself a good backpack. I got a great one for $40 at staples made by Samsonite.

What a great idea! Let's dump shit on them!
Unix is user friendly!
It's just very selective about who it makes friends with.
Microsoft, innovate?
