    Yeah,it'll be really confusing. You'd be like "I have a tablet..but I want to install phone software on it...but I can't....because it's not a phone....it's a tablet....so..let me get this right...I need to install tablet software on my tablet, but phone software on my phone? Someone help me out here? Why doesn't Google give them different names so that I know whether or not it'll run on my tablet?

    Exactly. It's papers such as the Guardian who are publicising this. The wikileaks site has been down more than up for the last few months. Wikileaks got all this stuff from Manning, and they've been a little slow in compensating/helping him as agreed.

    Having a page on eBay and Amazon is something a few companies are doing now. The sort of script-kiddies and spotty virgin bedroom boys who try and take sites down are too lame to be able to affect them, so you'd be safe.

    It's not a problem. Well, unless you have an old phone or something. Looks like Android is outselling iPhone too, so it looks like people are happy to buy 'open platforms'.

    It's a computer which lets you make phone calls. I've never, on any phone, been disconnected because the phone app, or the phone itself, failed in some way. If I ever had a problem, I'd simply redial and continue the phone call. It's not the most important aspect of the device, for me - I surf, email,text etc far more minutes a month than I talk on it. Really, your post is one step way from the 'i don't want a computer..i want a phone..to make phone calls...huh huh huhhh' comments we seem to get every time an article about mobiles/smartphones is posted.

    They released the Kin. Apparently they don't do market research either.

    It's probably just the phone sending periodic screenshots back to base so they can keep an eye on what you're downloading or something...

    YOU'RE going to be paying for his trial and incarceration, because he made use of software errors to profit from a company which profits from other people's gambling. Why? Isn't this the free market at work? If it's a problem, then fix the machines. Or...don't fix them - I don't give a shit how much money you lose from using shitty software. Good luck to him; he may have broken the law, but he's done nothing wrong.
