    With WCDMA and HSDPA, etc you can hog the whole cell site. The backhaul bandwidth is normally only 2Mbits to each sector, so one user can saturate it.

    They might store passwords in plain text for support purposes, and even if they were encrypted a password cracker would probably get quite a few.

    wibro is not sluggish compared with wimax, the demo probably used like 200mhz of spectrum to get 100Mbit, whereas the 2-4Mbit quoted for wimax is using a 5 or 7Mhz channel.

    Dongle can also refer to something that plugs into a computer, especially something with wires that "hang" (dangle, or perhaps a more suggestive origin) from a laptop computer. For example:

    Other USB devices, primarily flash memory "drives", used only for data storage (as opposed to USB Hardware Token Devices).
    So it must be true...

    That's a minus point.. having to use apples lame software instead of just copying files onto it. I have an ipod (which I only bought as I got a 50% discount), but hate having to use itunes.

    Exactly, the money isn't wasted, it just goes to somebody else! Although money going to someone like Bill Gates probably is wasted, as he is never going to be able to spend it all, so pirating microsoft software is ok :)

    Sellers have more to lose by getting bad feedback, so with your system buyers could blackmail sellers into giving them refunds or whatever when they are not due. A lot of buyers treat ebay like a shop and bitch when it takes you a week to post an item or doesn't fit them, etc. What they should do is keep the feedback private untill both sides have left it, and feedback from newbies with 0 feedback is worth less than feedback from someone with 200 feedback.

    On the cache the files are stored as file chunks, with only a reference to the file hash value, not the filename. So the ISP has no idea what is in the cache, so it is the same as the file being passed through their network.

    Red Hat used to be the distro of choice for clueless home users, now Red Hat focuses on clueless corporate users and all the clueless home users use Ubuntu. All the people with clue use Slackware or Gentoo.
