Here's the thing though. TivoHD doesn't work on satellite. Why? Not because of any satellite lockout. It's because Tivo is in bed with the cable companies. So, if this went through to the hypothetical extreme and you couldn't use the satellite DVR/timeshift service that the sat company provides, you would be shit out of luck. If Tivo is going to sue people for stealing sales or patent infringement, they better at least be in the same damn market and providing some kind of serivce. As of right now, they are out of the satellite game all together.

Who needs film anymore? The movie industy and film students do. Also, anyone interested in professional photography.
While the market for film is declining its still has a very strong base.
I will agree with this. I was good friends with everyone on my floor and everyone trusted each other. The problem was that laptops were getting stolen from rooms with open doors.
People would prop open one of the doors to the dorm(doors were key locked with no guards) and random people would walk in and walk out with 2 or 3 laptops.
The moral....ALWAYS lock your doors because you never know who will be around.
I had a similiar problem with running out of content. It was fun for 6 months or so because there was still enough stuff for me to do to keep myself occupied. But when myself and 3 other people killed the hardest thing in the game (a Dark Jedi Master) things went downhill. It wasn't just that the mob should have taken 20+ people to kill. It was that, what else is there to do really?
The Desert Combat mod for BF1942 deserves the name "Counter-Strike Killer." Playing that is akin to playing sidescrollers for years and suddenly discovering 3d. Its just phenomanal. It improves on counterstrike in every way possible. I would love to see it on console. *cough* gamecube
umm...as i recall this is a pyramid scheme and is also quite illegal. i think this goes beyond the realm of spam(unless people start getting spam about hitmen or drugs or something).
