My website is open to all. As for the birthday images, that's a negative on the tang. I knew I should've used more lensflare and drop shadow. Honestly, though, I just do those because I often have nothing better to do. And then I can at least make somebody a little happier for a little while?

And screw you, offtopic mods. I'll talk about what I want to talk about. My karma can take it.

This is a small key size for the scheme. On the website they have other challenges posted where the key size is four or eight times as long, which are deemed 'infeasible'. This was not a completely realistic security test of the ECC algorithm, they expected it to be solved.
If this was used for real data, the key would be much longer and it would take probably a few billion years to solve.

    3) Remaining thrust will be provided by removing the vacuum tubes from the flight computer and throwing them behind the ship.
    4) The return journey... uhh... screw it, let's invade a neighboring country!

In all honesty, I wish the Russians had the American budget. They have proven their worth more than once in innovation, and it's a shame they can no longer afford it.

    in-house code, as well.
The advantages of closed source coding seem to me to be a faster development time, stronger integration of components, and more support. The drawbacks, though, are that you are ultimately trusting somebody else.
Open source code, I would say, is more secure overall - there are more people looking at the code, so it is less likely that bugs slip through. The drawbacks would be that open source is less custom-made and possibly less supported than the rest (also, as O'Dowd would have it, people 'contributing' backdoors).
As for simply writing your own secure code (an agency doing this, that is), it's obviously just more expensive.
The best solution, in my opinion, is to make your own custom flavor of Linux that is open to all, but contribution is regulated so no questionable code can be admitted - the tack taken by the NSA.

Somebody feels a little insecure about their rhythm.... :-)

The goal was not for the robot to be the conductor - everybody knows humans are better. In fact, the robot's motion was most likely recorded from a human. The goal is to show that they can, to demonstrate the variety of things the robots can do (physically, for now). I certainly think it's a little less specialized than building a car.

    Regardless, more = better.

On a serious note, I think it's important to make sure they realize the value of relationships (of all kinds). I know people that have felt and I have certainly felt myself at times that the world is hopeless and friends aren't worth having, but the truth is, it's always a good thing. Whether you feel you may need help or not, it's always good to have somebody to turn to and sometimes you need a boost to get ahead in this world.
