I have to agree. I was a happy owner of the P800 and the P910. The P990 is a complete disappointment. Non-intuitive interfaces and overly complex for go real benefit.
I fully expect that more coupons will be redeemed than there are converter boxes in existence. Like all govt programs, their will be over night businesses created for the sole purpose of racking in this money without any converter boxes being sold.
You only caught it on TV, right? When some episodes were dropped and played out of order? Go rent the series and watch it for real. I think you'll be surprised at what you missed.
You know, those guys signed up to be called on when a disaster hits their home state. You know, like those tornadoes and hurricanes that hit and we have no resources for now.
I agree with you. Considering all that you get out of the box, Apple servers are pretty cheap. Especially compared to the Dell "frankenboxes" that you constantly have to babysit.
There is a big difference between what marketing promises and what the company actually delivers.
Since I travel frequently and use local SIMS, I really need an unlocked phone. After the 90 day waiting period, I went through T-Mobile's submission process to get the unlock code. I got an e-mail back saying it was not available from the vendor. I tried calling their support and the only response I could get was to submit again. I submitted 2 more times with the same response.
I finally gave up and took the phone to a shop in San Francisco and had it unlocked there for $25
Are you sure this had anything to do with what Apple wanted? You know those American cell phone companies like to charge customers great fees for every little download on a phone. Maybe the cell phone companies threatened to bad the phone if there was no song limit.

Keep in mind that the Sun lawyers blogged about it as well.

The Mac Tax is the price you pay to get OS X. It's been worth the price for me, so far, but that doesn't mean it's not there.
How is this different from the Microsoft Windows tax imposed on all OEMs even if they ship Linux?

Sun's policy?
Sun is a US company and by US law, Sun is not allowed to export to restricted countries.

Of course money isn't made out of paper. It is made out of cloth.
Just because you don't think Novell is evil, doesn't mean they aren't.
The last season of the Dukes of Hazard used miniature cars.
Apple has Mac OS license support subscription options for companies of all sizes.
You shouldn't complain on what you clearly don't know anything about.
As someone who has owned the P802, P910 and now had the P990, you'd be better off getting an iPhone.
Somehow Sony Ericsson makes each new model more cumbersome to use.
A reference distribution for the distros. A reference distro for developers.
Nah. Juse needs a little kudzoo to brighten up the place and hold the soil down.

Especially when their business plan was to hire Linus and make the world think they were Linux experts for contract work.
You've already paid for an expensive HD TV and the extra charges for the HD channels.
Now you are going to cry over the cost of the HD Tivo?

I think you missed the point that the government created the Reavers.
Why is a media engine such a threat for you?
How is it being held hostage?
The EARLY ACCESS is for a fee.
After that early access period, the alpha is a FREE download.
Now that would make too much sense!
Isn't this guy only famous because he was hired by Microsoft to blog?
Now he is just a nobody again, right?
