The earliest I can reasonably be a Mac user is 2007.
You're pretty dense to be a Photoshop user. You just don't get it. Maybe the result of using Windows.
You can buy a PowerPC based Mac TODAY and you can buy Adobe software for a PowerPC based Mac
TODAY. Where do you get this idea that you can't be a Mac user TODAY?
Adobe didn't make that decision.
Adobe made the decision not to recompile their existing release for Intel Macs. Apple has had the documentation out for making the universial binaries since last summer. Waiting to compile the future release into universal binaries is Adobe's decision.
Many other software developers had their software updated and ready before Apple even released an Intel Mac.
That's the reality and there are many Mac users you can help you get up and running TODAY. Not 2007.
Translation: I love Apple and I don't want to hear good reasons for some to avoid them.
Don't be an asshat. The point of the post is that Adobe has always used Apple's transitions
to screw over customers. When Apple came out with MacOS X, it took Adobe around 2 years
to finally update their releases. And again before that when the hardware went from 68K chips
to PPC.
You must not live in the US. If you did, you would know that most cities only have a broadband duopoly. You have a choice of getting screwed by the telco or the cable company. That's not a free choice.
Keep in mind that the P800, P900 & P910 phones get GREAT reception. I usually get 3 bars in areas where people using the "free" phones get no signal at all.
How is this a solution? If anything, private schools are more extreme in matters like this.
Yup. You should have gotten your Mom a Mac.
I've got one little only lady who started a Mac club of other retired old ladies. They all support each other.
That is 220.00 US more than my Gateway FPD2185w 1680x1050 panel...IOW it is a rip off.
Which of course is not a high rez 17" display like we are discussing.
Go buy an old SGI 1600sw display.

There is nothing informative about this post.
There was no advertising, marketing or PR involved.
A simple note was sent to the press to come see some "fun" new products.
They'll give you all you can watch Pauly Shore movies!!!!
Oh. Wait....
You seem forget that Palm has switched to Windows. The Palm OS is a spinoff that isn't owned by Palm anymore.
Because they still think AOL IS the internet.
It is easier to switch people off Windows to a Mac than it is to switch them off AOL.

Good time to buy a Quad processor PowerMac G5!!!

You can very easily buy a PPC Mac this year. Stop your unfounded crying. Adobe always does this. You should know better.

Yeah, but who wants to move to Canada to get away from the US anarchy?
I've got 6 firewire800 hard drives I can show you in use.
America is a ONE party system. Your vote is yes or no for the main corporate stand in.
Symantec *IS* a virus.
And you just named the 2 worst proprietary tools.
I guess yopu enjoy bending over for the man.
Hopefully in MP4 and not proprietary M$ or Real formats.
Don't forget that Universities take 50% off the top of all grants for "infrastructure" costs.
Not NEEDING a NAT would be nice and a benefit.

With the Elite AL dual drive firewire enclosure from Other World Computing you can pack around 1000GB.

But there is nothing cool about a PC.
It will jump off your desk and eat your children.
