Then all the free Internet and free computer programs in the early 2000's. You had to watch ads in exchange for the free Internet access or free computer.
Sorry I didn't watch the video yet but when the phones where loosing signals strength were all of them during a live phone call? If not then we have no way to know if they would have dropped a call right there and then vs the iPhone.
>The real damage caused by piracy aren't the works which were created and then failed to produce return on investment (this is all to easy to do without piracy), the real damage is done in works which are never created in the first place due to the perception that piracy would make them financially irrelevant.
Really look at this site. Might not be your type off music but the quality on here is on par or better then commercial releases.
If someone doesn't create works because they are afraid or piracy then they have the wrong business plan and were gonna be taken to the cleaners by the record labels anyways. Either way they will be bumped by someone more ambitious and and a chance taker.

I can flip the page back and forth on my works MultiTocuh monitor. Exactly like MS describes it. I've seen this about 5+ years ago on sites.
Sooo instead of learning from their loses and improving their product that go beyond their competitors in features/quality at the same price they rather spend the money on lawyers.
>It's bullshit because a criminal background check should never show arrests. It should show convictions only. To do otherwise is a rejection of "innocent until proven guilty", as anyone can make an accusation. It doesn't mean you actually did anything. Why then should you bear a stigma that has to be explained to all future employers merely because a false accusation was made?
Years ago I went over to the Sates and where gonna go to Belingham. On the car were were in theback window was a sticker that said "Porn Star" which was a clothing label. Anyways we were told by the US border guards to get out and had the car searched. Normal I guess BUT then they ran my name through the computer and the US border guards has arrest info on me where there were no convictions just arrests. The Canadian RCMP doesn't have this info and my only conviction as a young offender has already been purged by the system long before I even went over the border but the US border guards can still see it.
I know several people who experienced the same thing even with in the last year. They arrests with no convictions are stored on the US systems.
This can also be compared with going from on manufacturers manual to another. I used to own a 1974 BMW 2002 with a 4 speed. I could shit it in my sleep, then one day I need to use a friends Dodge Caliber or what ever it was called. I had a hell of a time trying to not jerk it a stop signs/light for a whole as the clutch was so sensitive compared to my 02's.
>Of course, life is made easier by being able to torrent what I can't get through netflix.
BUT some of us don't mind supporting the company/artists for good/great work and could care less if its available for free as a torrent. We just want easy access and a price that reflects the digital version vs packaged hard medium. The reason I rarely buy any music/movie in digital format is that there are very few option in Canada and I WILL not pay $5 less for a digital copy when a hard copy costs $20. I'll do without it and use the money to fill up my gas guzzling Bronco and go the a remote beach/lake and relax for the day.
I can buy it used for 1/5 the price which lets me play a game I would have never bought in the first place and if I don't like it I can sell it for the same amount or more.
A few weeks back I was driving down the road and a flock of birds flew under my truck. One of them must have hit the bottom and got hurt as it was laying and moving on the ground. As I looked in the rear view I saw another bird flying out of the grass when they flew into and it was flying around the hurt bird. There was no where to pull over as the road was tight but driving back later that day I saw the bird dead and moved towards the edge of the asphalt. But the bird that flew outlooked like is was trying to help out the other bird or maybe it was its mate.
If you are talking about music artists then most seem to think they automatically deserve to be paid for producing their music while the few that talk back about the tyranny only do just enough to get people to notice but don't follow through with putting their money where their mouth is.
A friend of mine bought two brand new XPS systems two months ago and both of them went including the first replacement that he received. All three had MB go on them.
I bought a brand new XPS 9000 around the same time but so far no problems.
Not quite what we have here but wasn't it Tommy Hilfiger, when asked how he felt about people shoplifting his clothing said something like "he didn't care as it was free advertising every time someone wore one of those stolen clothing items".
It wouldn't because the gas I saved on my 88 Bronco would have gotten me 5 more $2 downloads. I prefer to pay for things that are produced by other people have value to me I WILL not pay the same for something digital that coasts 98% less to manufacture then the hard copy version. Thats all its worth to me.
People rather pirate your products because the new mediums changed the value of your product and no one wants to pay $20 for a file when it costs $20 for hard good version of your product. Price it accordingly and people will come back.
when the criminals can give you better customer service then the legit manufacturer/vendor.
If the MPAA/RIAA always bitch about how every download is a lost sale image how much they would be racking in if a new movie was available for $2-5 for digital download. You would be stupid to download it illegally when you can get a brand new release for the price of a coffee. Oh lost the file in a crash oh well its only $2 to download it again. At that point I wouldn't even bother hitting the the pawn shops few days after new releases to get them for $3 when I can save time by buying it at home and let it download. Now give the user tons of payment options even pre paid cards for people who can't set up paypal or credit cards and you're brought your business int the 21st century. Its amazing what you can achieve when you work for the customer.

Better yet why not just inject come sheep dna into humans so that we can all follow the sheep leader with out any questioning.
Have been in the long rub to just pay off the Taliban to go and hang out in some exotic place with dirty 72 virgins.

also part of the lost sales they claim from movie pirating making them look exaggerated. Oh look me lost millions because of pirates.
>Gentlemen, to your conspiracies!
This is now a classic line. Congrats!
Obviously it made an impact on your life since you bothered to reply to me post.
Its the iPhone ME - maybe its stands for Magical Excrement.
