    >>you should be eager to let your more informed neighbors make the decision<<

Oh yeah this is really bright...Anyone who thinks they are more informed then some other poor sap is indeed MISinformed, They are more than likely misled by carefully concocted television ads or are just severly outspoken with their minds made up to the party line well ahead of any research into the issues their vote would affect!

To just sit there and not vote while it is your right/privilege/duty is just lazy or something... I don't know but I would not let it stop me from voting if nothing else get some dice ;=).

Of course you know that if your vehicle did not come with synthetic and you switch oil your seals(pan, main, valve covers,etc...) will start to leak guaranteed and if they already leak they will leak even more! So even if it LASTS longer you will have to add more sooner just from leaks :0) I would recomend a synthetic blend(castrol makes a good one, dosen't leak as much) if you really want to go with synthetic.

Just makes me wonder if slashdot is somehow responsible for a slight jump... after all they did just run a story about opendns and how it makes myspace faster. Myself like many others I am sure wanted to see if this was true, so I tried it out...didn't seem any quicker I also tried it out through several other dns servers, They all faired on average about the same depending on the time of day. Just in my testing I probably generated 75-100 hits... gotta be thorough. Disclaimer: I have never visited the myspace site before this.. and probably never will again. Well unless slashdot runs another article mentioning it...

I had a situation similar to that with a mac mini, the person I had set it up for a few months earlier called up a said they thought the power supply was fried from a thunder storm that came through the day before because it would not turn on since. So I get there they proceed to show me how it dosen't work...they grab the mouse and give it a wiggle wait a few secs. and say see it won't turn on... So I reach around the back, push the button and voila the screen comes on with a little tune and boots, thats when they say in amazement 'what did you do?'. I guess they just never turned it off/on before! :0)
