The reason Microsoft refuses to lower the price of Windows is because the extra money they shouldnt be charging helps make up for all their failed projects.
If Microsoft is forced to change this it wont really matter, they will have already gotten a core audience who can spread what channel is like what station for them via word of mouth.
Since when was $100-$200 for something you will use for years to much?
You pay $50 for a video game that MIGHT be used for a month, $200 for an OS isnt that big a deal.
The only real problem is paying $200 for a buggy OS.
I thought the purpose of this contest was to help get people into space...how many of you would really want to be dropped from the ship and parachute to the ground...id rather land like an airplane or the spaceshuttle myself.

I managed to keep my pc pretty much spyware free when running IE aside from the day to day tracking cookies.
I switched to Mozilla about 2 months ago and not only do i never get spyware cookies due to its easy to use cookie blocking and plugins, but its so much better in many respects. I still have to use IE on some pages that contain video files, and i do have a few gripes but overall its much better and lets me control my internet experience on many more levels.
I dont think a class devoted to typing is really needed anymore simply because computer use at home is so common now. When i was in school taking typing class my family hadnt purchased a PC yet. Now i dont know a single family that doesnt own a PC.
The best thing about the Dreamcast and its homebrew scene was that Sega supported it from day 1! They never gave tools to developers but they told them it was ok and they wouldnt get sued for doing it.
I remember someone from Sega tech support on the dcemulation forums telling people how to get the Dreamcast coders cable working, which is funny cause while that cable allows homebrew things to happen quicker it also allows the ripping of dreamcst games.
The xbox is like the Dreamcast 2 in spirit, its basicly the same exact thing just with a hard drive and better hardware, Microsoft is even following the Sega method of console design, inovation.
I dont remember what site i saw it on, possibly HardOCP, but it was a SNES, Genesis, N64, Gamecube, PS2, and an Xbox all inside a custom PC case it looked a 1000 times better then this and since the xbox can emulate every console before Dreamcast id wager it was way more usefull.
I saw a few of these blue dots collide. Imagine for a moment if something like this really rolled out, how damn scary it would be the first few times, and then imagine the public outrage and dismantling of the system as soon as a single accident occured.
There should be no such thing as campaign contributions of any kind, everyone who runs should get the same things, same tv time, same radio time, same everything. Until we change the way people are elected our goverment will never be for the people, it will always be for the corporations so they can rape the people who pay their salaries.
Its always nice when a patch installs in 3 seconds with no issue and no demand for a reboot. Today was the day i switched to Mozilla, ive been using it for about 2 years now off and on but i just cant take IE and its security chasms.
I find it funny people bitch about Lucas messing with "art" when he modifies his films...well, its his damn art, he can do whatever he wants with it.
I dont see how he ruined anything, while its true EP4-6 and THX didnt NEED new scenes or FX it doesnt detract from the film, people just need a reason to bitch.
