I was all hyped about my PS2 being able to play PS1 games...for about 2 days and then i never used it for PS1 again, whats the point when i have a perfectly good PS1 that runs the damn games better?
Not many know this, but backwards compatibility hurts the system in some ways, the PS2 for example only has 2 controller ports because the PS1 is the IO system, and it couldnt be changed to 4 without removing said compatibility.
All i want aside from the basics that must be add'd (more security, tabs etc) is the ability to block sites and ip's with a simple click like i do in mozilla (with plugin) if a site opens up and i see an AD i wanna right click the AD and be able to block its source which will in turn allow me more control over spyware and security.
Halo was good, its multiplayer was amazing and still is.
No story on Xbox? What games have story on PS2? Final Fantasy...no thanks i had my fill of the same game new story. If you want a game with a good story again play Halo, or Chronicles of Riddick, Legacy Of Kain, Star Wars KOTOR, Dues Ex, Morrowind etc. Im sorry but aside from FFX i cant think of a single PS2 game that has had a story that made me want to keep playing.

Poor Sales? Xbox games have been hitting #1 in sales charts the last few months, and many times there have been more Xbox games in the top 5 then PS2 or GCN.

Xbox has more AAA titles by scale then any system out there, problem is way to many people live in denial and wont just wake up and see the truth. You name any GCN or PS2 title and ill fire back with 2 for Xbox...well i wont really, only cause i have a life, its friday, and its my BDAY!
I dont see how Sony is so far ahead of MS in that respect. Put a $50 mod chip and a $150 250 gig HD in your xbox and you have the same damn thing aside from the ability to burn dvd's. Plus the mod'd xbox can stream media of any type over a network to a TV or stereo, it can emulate older consoles/arcades, and it can play xbox games more value for the $ right there, if i wanna burn something that was on my xbox i could always just stream it to my PC, something the PSX cant do.

I like console gaming better, overall its more enjoyable to sit in front of my big tv with my suround sound in my recliner then it is to sit in front of my pc. All this talk about protection methods led people to sony and cd's, then to tying peoples names to music files so if they were uploaded to the net they would know who did it...well not true, you can easily re-encode music via your sound card, line out goes to line in and a viola drm free 100% perfect copy that can be compressed in your favorite format and uploaded at will.
My 3g 30gb iPod is already full, and I'd love to be able to rip most of my music into Apple Lossless and use it on the new 60gb iPod!
Apples format is hardly lossless, in fact its worse then MP3, listen to it on something other then pc speakers or headphones and you will hear the difference between CDA, MPA and AAC.

Phantom could have been a good idea, except it uses PC games. Why is that bad? Well simple really, pretty much every 6 months you need to buy some sorta hardware to keep the newest games running at full speed, even if you stretched that to a year the hardware would be outdated before your subscription was up, and im sure if you tried to end said subscription you would have to pay for the Phantom or if you wanted a new upgraded phantom you would have to pay for it.
When G4 1st came out i was pissed because i didnt have digital cable in my area...when i finnaly got it, I paid for G4 and TechTV. TechTV is great, TSS is a good show, and they have some other shows i watch from time to time. G4 on the other hand is full of shitty shows with news channel reject interns who couldnt get a job coding in India let alone do a proper news cast. Ill give G4 some credit, a couple of its shows are decent enough but the majority is just a waste of time.
Of course if Call for Help and TSS gets taken off the air ill get rid of digital cable, they are the only shows i ever watch on a regular basis these days. The rest of my entertainment comes from other sources, like my Girlfriend/Son, the net, DVD's, and games. I dont need to pay Comcast (who is already breaking into my house at night and using my credit cards) anymore money for more bullshit programming.
