UNetBootin doesn't work well with Mandriva One 2010. Or at least not for me. Of course, Mandriva One is a hybrid ISO. If you use their "Seed" tool (essentially dd), it will boot nicely off a stick.
Sometimes turning it down involves a bit of psychology -- knowing your manager.
I was at a very small shop -- about 8 heads total, including the owner. I was asked if I would become the group lead, which involved managerial type stuff -- scheduling, etc...
I told the owner that, if necessary, I would do it, but I knew my limitations, and it would probably not make either of us happy.
I had phrased it in a manner that he understood and was able to agree with, and so I was able to keep my (then-)present role.
The central location? The file cabinet in my home office. They only made one fingerprint card per kid, which they gave to us. Remember, this was in the early '90s, at the tail end of the child abduction hysteria (yeah, it's still around but not as strong).
We were told to keep the card, and put a small clip of the kids' hair into a mini-ziploc, and store it with the card.
That's why they changed the name. Whenever they tried to get it to do something, it would only follow a script, even if the program didn't follow that same script.
Interix was created solely for the reason of destroying UNIX
Do you have any proof?
You ask as if I was accusing Microsoft of being especially evil. This isn't another big secret like the the way they carefully arrange APIs to disadvantage other companies that develop for Windows. In fact let's just ask them.
Except for the fact that you seem to imply that MS created Interix to destroy Unix. Only problem is that MS didn't create Interix, they bought it.
Thank you for playing. Here's your lovely parting gift.
Don't buy DRM encrusted shite. If the company openly supports ACTA, or is known to have had a hand in writing it, then don't buy their product at all.
At which point the following occurs:
[corp exec]: Senator, we're losing even more money to those Evil Content Pirates)(tm)!!!! Here's a bucketful of money. We need the death penalty for copyright infringement.
Which raises the question (and yes, I did RTFA), is this satellite in LEO or GEO?
If it's in GEO, you have a minimum 0.5 second round-trip ping time. Latency becomes a major factor at that point, regardless of how much bandwidth you can stuff in the channel.
Remember, 186000 mi/sec, it's not just a good idea -- its the law!
Another solution -- How about NOT cutting funds to NASA, and instead, giving it enough money to do Constellation right, so that we have something for kids to be excited about?

I was hoping to be the one to put the politician in the cannon to create a "flying airbag".
Wait... that would be a flying douchebag.
Threaded view was available in 2.x, at least for Usenet. I suspect it was there for email as well.
Best. April Fools Page. Ever.

What central location?
We did that for our kids.

Hell, back in 1983/1984, I made $7.50/hr grading papers.
Tell them that 1985 called and wants its offer back.
If I were a lawyer my nipples would explode with joy.
You could then fill your hovercraft with eels.

Excuse me but I think the parent post is on-topic, which is obviously off-topic for this topic.
Head asplodes.
The Red Sox, the Yankees, the Phillies and the Angels are interested in Roy Halladay.
Anyone have any other baseball related news?
We are Ohm of Borg. Resistance is futile. Voltage, on the other hand, has potential.
As a fyi, TeV is actually tetra-electron volts.
That's a lot of tropical fish!
I think you meant Tera election volts.
And, Mr. Lawyer, you can only bill 40hr/wk, max.
4) Their Constitution wouldn't allow.
And yet the US pushes this anyway.

It's been almost 30 years since I had quantum... I seemed to recall that the professor described the classical limit as h -> 0.
He was probably simplifying for us -- it was an intro to quantum class.

Senator: OK.
Same thing in Quantum Mechanics. They devolve into classical equations, if you set Planck's Constant to 0.
Then the latency is a major issue.
Round-trip = 2 * (22300 miles up + 22300 miles down) = ~90000 miles = ~0.5s (500ms) latency at the speed of light.
What about Bletchley Park? Doesn't that have a museum as well? If so, that's got to be a must for any true geek.

What about the Poop concentration?
Sounds like they should have used a switch instead of a hub. Then there wouldn't be collisions.
