Gimme Apple's take on a Fujitus U810 / U1010 / U50X. 5.6" screen, full keyboard, tablet convertible.
Or smaller again. A Zaurus size CLAMSHELL device. First company to produce a pocketable clamshell x86 machine gets my money. Doesn't need to be quick, just needs a proper keyboard, be usable on a desk and not require holding in both hands (like 99% of UMPCs), and PDA size.
What release/distribution form of OpenSolaris are you using? I've been quite fascinated by the whole thing since I first heard about ZFS but getting started has proved to be something of a mystery.
I find these vertical mice even worse than a regular mouse - I don't know about the reviewers, but when my hand is resting on its side on a desk it's sitting on my wrist bones rather than the nice soft pad of my palm. This becomes quite excruciating after a while.
The only way I've found of alleviating mouse related pains is by changing hands regularly, and alternating with use of a trackball too.
And I've tried everything except touch screens - which just don't have the accuracy.
After the cleaners visit our offices there's a good few hours of calls regarding broken keyboards/mice/monitors/PCs. Generally just cables pulled - but the state on LCDs after a being subjected to cleaning fluids designed for CRTs numerous times is not pretty. For that reason, they are banned from entering our lab.
We've raised the issue, changed cleaning firms - all the same.
It's cheaper for me to have 10Mb and saturate that upon demand, than to leave my machine powered up for longer periods, and pay the resulting electricity bill.
Replace every instance of "myspace.com" in a page, with "myspace.ban" or similar. Short of putting a proxy in place to reverse the process, or a firefox extension that will do the same, problem solved.
Replacing it with random characters would defeat both these bypass methods too:)
Mines been thoroughly thrashed - dropped on concrete many times (I've a habit of phone spinning), and other than a few scratches on it, and the dust behind the screen (which I'll fix soon when I find the right Torx bit), it's working flawlessly.
Likewise, first phone I've really liked - wouldn't trade it for anything else, it's been a stella performer, never giving any hassle. I've had it since the launch day too:)
Every time I've blown a pair of earbuds from extensive use at high volume the left has gone first. At least a dozen pairs have died this way, on different devices.
Stuff Asus or Gigabyte.
Buy an Intel board.
They still are, the TH55 is only now showing its age, purely down to an outdated web browser. It's still the king of the Palm OS devices.
I see your Kinesis and raise you a Fingerworks Touchstream ST. It was about £350 on purchase. At todays exchange rate that's nearabout $700.
Ridiculous price.
Sharp Zaurus C series. Running Debian.
Pocket sized, keyboard, decent screen, real OS.

Also look at Palmfiction on a HiRes+ Palm device. Far superior 320x480 touchscreen loveliness, and fantastic battery life.

Vista can be purchased and downloaded from Microsoft.
The thing with GH is that the addon *comes with the game*. This is absolutely vital.

Those articles are 3 years old.
Both the mid and high end services are unlimited both daily and monthly. I'm not sure about the basic.

In a command prompt, admittedly.
However it's really, REALLY worth having. Like everywhere else, the component output is a huge improvement over composite.

Content rewriting does the trick with no fuss.

Couldn't PoE be used?
Bunch of cheap disks, cheap PoE switch, a little Mini-ITX machine. As far as I'm concerned, that's elegant hackery.
Yes! I'm not alone!
Because it's actually time.windows.com ?
Too thick, and the exposed screen would get destroyed in a day if I treated it like a mobile phone. Stuffed into pockets with keys, etc.
Fortunately, the Razr can be easily reflashed to enable all the good stuff.
Not much good for the general public, but this is SlashDot, right?
The great part is due to my colourblindness I noticed zero difference from normal until it was pointed out!
I blame missing the "OMG PONIES" part on an ex-girlfriend with an MLP obsession.

Likewise. The DS was an ergonomic nightmare for me. Weight and buttons in all the wrong places.
