Or smaller again. A Zaurus size CLAMSHELL device. First company to produce a pocketable clamshell x86 machine gets my money. Doesn't need to be quick, just needs a proper keyboard, be usable on a desk and not require holding in both hands (like 99% of UMPCs), and PDA size.

  8. even more painful on Review of Ergonomic Evoluent VerticalMouse 3 · · Score: 1

I find these vertical mice even worse than a regular mouse - I don't know about the reviewers, but when my hand is resting on its side on a desk it's sitting on my wrist bones rather than the nice soft pad of my palm. This becomes quite excruciating after a while.

The only way I've found of alleviating mouse related pains is by changing hands regularly, and alternating with use of a trackball too.

And I've tried everything except touch screens - which just don't have the accuracy.

For that reason, they are banned from entering our lab.

We've raised the issue, changed cleaning firms - all the same.

Content rewriting does the trick with no fuss.

Replace every instance of "myspace.com" in a page, with "myspace.ban" or similar. Short of putting a proxy in place to reverse the process, or a firefox extension that will do the same, problem solved.

Replacing it with random characters would defeat both these bypass methods too :)
