If the company is in the business of processing or clearing credit card transactions, then Visa and MC would be very much involved if there were any security breaches. Then again, there aren't much details about what the company actually does.:/
Can someone please give me a rhetorical answer of what is so good about IE7 that's not already there in Firefox, and why I should waste my time and resources upgrading....
So, at 14.4 meters/h, this is only useful for bodies of still water. Looking forward to improvements in speed, 'cause I think ocean currents move faster than that.
I think the BeVocal public portal died an untimely death. At one point, there was TellMe and BeVocal. As far as voice input goes, BeVocal won hands down over TellMe, especially for driving directions. Here's an example: BeVocal input - 1332 Mission Street, San Francsico, CA Tell me input - San Francisco, CA..yes... wait for next prompt... Mission Street...yes... wait for next prompt... 1332...yes.... Took 10 times as long to give a starting and ending address. What a PITA!
Unfortunately for BeVocal, TellMe had AT&T funding behind it, and BeVocal was just a startup that had recently been acquired by another company. Such a shame.
Because chewing is probably another automatic process that, takes up 100% CPU which leads to walking being stifled and user coming to a complete stop until a kill command is issued.
and how do you propose to start those power plants up? If the energy output is less than what was put in, then how do you justify the existence of the fusion power plant? You're back to coal/nuclear/hydro/oil/hamster plants.
What do you think powers the generators that generate the electricity that powers the electric plug in the wall where you will be plugging your car into?
It is a lot easier for business to adapt/justify PoE than for a home user. They just see it as another technology that's better than what they have, and when the natural upgrade cycle comes around, they upgrade to it.
Example - flat-screens - they were first adapted by businesses, way before they were made popular with the consumer.
Not everyone has PoE at home, so this solution would only be ideal for businesses. You can of course always get a PoE cable that will plug in to the wall socket through a transformer and the ethernet jack, thereby combining the power, however that defeats the purpose of PoE, because most devices out there support both 110V and 220V, and they all have universal connectors and power supplies capable of handling whatever voltage you throw at them. An you'll still be plugging it into an electrical socket. You will also need a helluva lot more power to run processor intensive apps, so this would pretty much limit this machine to secretaries and web surfers/majority of home users - see above on why this is not a solution for home.
This begs the natural question of just how far is the research into cortical stimulation via ultrasonic waves will go in our lifetimes. It also legally limits the ability of others to do research in that field without violating the patent rights.
What happens if the device Sony comes up with, misfires? Will you suddenly get an image of your mother in the middle of a sex scene as you're about to climax? Or will your partner suddenly turn into a duck or a chicken?
I do see the misfiring though as a benefit to create negative feedback while re-training rapists, child molesters, and other sex crime commiters. It may also be beneficial in treatment of sex addicts.
I wonder if the demo model will be pink....
Anyone else make the "Eating Pi at the Y" connection, or am I the only one in the gutter here?

Suddently there's a surge in searches for "Average Penis"
I flew Swiss Air and Scandinavian Air. The food tasted just fine, in fact it tasted really good.
The author should try flying a non-US airline.

Is that a rocket in your pocket? Or are you just happy to see me?
Can my condoms tweet when I come?

Right, but that's what the big ass sail/parachute technology is for

I wouldn't be surprised if Google got behind the funding and made it super-searchable... :)
The species weren't as diverse back then, and many weren't discovered. :P
Besides, they weren't crossbreeding chihuahuas with wiener dogs back then...

Limb movement is universal, object names are not. Feelings are also universal, but expressing them is quite different from culture to culture.

You might be confusing it with a Vorgon constructor ship... It is yellow in color and kind of hard to miss and confuse with anything else...
