I hear you on this. After I log on, I go and get a cup of coffee (machine is in the same room), bullshit with the guys, look out my window and curse at my damn laptop. It drives me crazy.
Now my Ubuntu Pc, wow that's fast. Windows XP takes 3-4 times longer to get to a log on. Not to mention all the other crap at start up.
It's about time G4 bought a fucking clue! How many stupid ass game shows can you watch. The only other show worthwhile is XPlay. Morgan Webb is soo Hot and Adam Sessler cracks me up.
The other garbage (like Attack Of the Show) just sucks ass.
This was actually a fun game. I was playing it for awhile until I ran into a Save Game glitch. I didn't feel like backtracking (short attention span).
The combat system was good. The bosses were cool (took me awhile to beat the big black guy). And I loved the Ragdoll Physics. And nothing beats using telekinesis to toss the bad guys around.
Not all of the hardware we've gotten from IBM has been the greatest, but on the whole, the quality of IBM's hardware has been at least as good as anything else out there. What *really* keeps us coming back to IBM, though, is the warranty. Their service is unmatched in the industry.
First off, 3 year onsite warranties are standard on the *vast* majority of IBM servers. Second, they can (and, for us, often are) upgraded to 4-hour (or even 2-hour) response warranties. Third, when I call IBM and tell them that a part is dead, they believe me and ship the part immediately. They do as a few logical questions, but the parts get shipped. I'm on the phone maybe 10 minutes total.
This is the truth. My company also uses only IBM Servers and Desktops (Cisco Only for network), and their support and warranty is incredible. There 4 hour respones times are great. When I call for support, someone immediately answers my call.
If you need a server that's mission critical, IBM is a great way to go.
Here in Ireland (and in the rest of the EU) your tax is automatically taken out of your paycheck and you don't need to worry about filling in tax returns every year unless you run a business. It seems bizarre to me (and the 350 million other Europeans) that all you American folk still have to fill in your own tax returns; surely our way is better?
Because I am able to get back anywhere from 4 to 5 grand in deductions.
Umm. I like the original controller. I bought the Xbox when it first came out. The big controllers are great. I'm a big guy and they feel 1000 times better than what PS2 and Gamecube offer.
Have you ever tried them?
Just recommend Ubuntu for people that are new to Linux. It's an easy install, a blast to use and it's Debian based. Plus they have a Live CD. So that they could test it out before installing it.
I like it because it doesn't overwhelm you with apps. And if you want to add something, just apt-get it (or better yet fire up Synaptic).
The main problem I have with Legos is that you really can only buy a kit to make a X-Wing or some Harry Potter shit. The kits are made really to make only what's on the box. They need to include more pieces so that a kids imagination can really go wild. Having a kit that can only build a couple of items blows.
Plus they really do have some goofy crap. Bionicles, Sports? What's that.
Just hate to inform you, but none of that is unique.
People do use Linux for their MAME box.
People do use cabinets and do not mutilate them. Just look at the examples page of Arcadecontrols.com and see.
My point was that people do this all the time. Check out Build Your Own Arcade Controls. There are plenty of projects using an existing Arcade cabinet. If you are interested in building a control panel, that is "THE" source of info.
Why not build your own cab and slap MAME on it. It's what I'm doing. It's very easy to do.

Definitly go with rechargeables. They are so cheap. I have rechargeable GP AA's for my digital camera and my Palm and I love them.
Do yourself a favor and get the good ones (ones rated 1800 mAH or above). Also get a good recharger. I am using a Maha charger, this thing is great and is very cheap (about $25.00).
Somebody needs to do something about Samzenpus and the garbage he puts out.
Definitely. Someone should shoot him with an iPod-enabled sniper rifle.
You made my day! I wish I had mod points! LOL!
No, I have 2 PC that are identical. And boot up time is night and day between XP and Ubuntu.

Just got to gamefaqs.com. They're free.
Kind of like bombs buried in the roads?
1U servers? Come on, don't be a pussy!

Shit, I'm lucky if I can even find an employee to help me!
So it also takes a week to install!
What a tough Son of a bitch!

This is nothing new. Check out Arcadecontrols.com . Folks have been building there own arcades for awhile now.
If you want to check out an utlimate Mame box, take a look here:

This dude has a spinning control panel.
I actually like the original XBox controller. It fits nicely in my hands.
Of course I'm 6 foot 4.
I agree. Bit Torrent is the way to initially distribute this. Definitly saves on their bandwidth.
There's plenty of mods for Freedom Force. Check out Freedommods.com. You can play as the X-Men, Spiderman and plenty of other superhereos.
