I had this chair two years in London and having gone from HM Aeron I hated it. Poor support, the arms always falling down hard spots, especially if you sit in it for more than 10 hours day.
can as said in the article. The software isn't bad at all, I use it on my PC because it works better than Windows. The only time it must be used is with NEF (read RAW) files on Windows. Adobe applications can read them straight on but not much else.
'The "fix" for this problem by many is to buy a new PC'
If they were to simply pay a consultant to create a image (w/FF) rather than trying to "fix" what spyware has broken, why not simply re-image the computer? I can't see that costing as much as new PCs for everyone. Especially if there are more than 10 employees.
P.s. That has to be the most confusing sentence I have ever written.
why wait for the mirrors, when the torrents are available?
FTFA:
"The Alpha 4 ISO is currently available via bittorrent and will shortly be available via ftp/http thanks to our primary mirrors, Indiana University and Progeny. Visit the Downloads Page."
I think Television adds are the only way to go for FF. I know that they have done some (not sure where but I never saw them) but need one simple and easily understood ad. Is there an open source ad agency out there will to work on one? I would be happy to help. Even share some cpu cycles.
Yes just sit around and wait, you'll see, they will be forthcoming and honest. I mean come on they are a multi-billion dollar business, we can trust them. . . can't we?
Wow, these are some of the most right-wing comments I've ever seen on /.
funny that I agree with most of them.

I guess you had to be there :)
. . . and the more frustrated I get trying to dig around for whatever it was that just got hidden last time I switched windows. Expose?
Silly rabbit Google isn't evil, Microsoft is.
When are people (and rabbits) going to learn?
please explain why this is modded down? was it because he ask people to RTFA?

Yeah sure this will do away with the need for a web browser except for the fact that you can't use it to browse the interweb.
INAL but I believe that the US patent system is based on first to invent.

Shouldn't the system itself be open source, this way when they rate my application shit, I can just go in an "mod" it up?
perhaps this could afford people looking for a less expensive, more secure alternative but are stuck using some "Windows-esk" applications?

fake image? and image that they will wish to repeat throughout their lives?
I use FF and love it however, one man's "IE ignores blah blah blah", is another's "why is FF so finicky?"
the only thing they are missing is the article is how to do this correctly. If you need to remove the language portion of the URL. the end result should look like this. http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/defau lt.aspx?javascript:void(window.g_sdisablewgacheck= 'all')&ln=en-us if you looking for US English.
did anyone one notice that they also left out the firewire? Can someone say DigiCam?
that is a great idea until the a/c unit in rack 3 goes and you go from your nice fridge to a hot house.
it doesn't run on my laptop.
i'll take my chances if she is up there
