    relly these guys need to burn in hell. brodcasting your cd over the radio is not a volation. this will never hold up in court. maybe if it was a ipod full of stolen mp3s and a big maybe sence none has relly won a case hear or there. hell if it was a ipod full of itunes mp3s it would still be legil. its called fair use well they do a good job to stamping that right out the window these days. if he was offering up cds of what he was listing to then yea they would have something. this shit needs to come to a end i myself have voted with my wallet and dont buy any cds or even download any mp3s. the only way to stop this bs is to make cd sales and pricey both go to 0. then watch them kick and stream a nice bloddy slow death. whont happon thow.

    alot of system are dule boot and thers lot more then 3-4% linux users out there. maybe in the home market that number might be right but if you toss in the busness market that numbers mutch higher.

    drm killed it more then anything. the second a pc whont do what i want it to and yes that means ripping my cds or dvds i own to lets say to my pocket video player or anything else isnt ever going to tuch my pc or plugging or installing any pice of softwhere/hardware i please be it 3rd party or otherwise. being so locked down efects users of all types and when they relise wait this works in linux guess what they will remove from there pc. or wait i can acully make a backup using linux guess who wins. M$ better relise drm itsself is a failer and every drm product accept itunes has failed. itunes only had a chance was couse the drm isnt insane and now even that got removed.

    going from 9x to xp was mostly due to driver issues but once all the companys got drivers out for xp was no longer a issue. xp to vista is driver issues and companys just dumping old hardware then makeing vista drivers comptably issues and it being a majer system whore even on brand new pcs and lets not forget drm wast of space. M$ always dropes the ball on windows but this time they droped it in the grand canyon. will this kill there strangle hold on pc users probly not but it will get the power users looking at linux. as for joe cant even use windows whont be switching to linux untill all the power users do. when i saw those system regs i almost fell over laughing and knew then i would never run vista.

    that seems like alot but it relly isnt. when iptv hits mainstream this year on the xbox 360 and pc people will easly eat up 150gb in bandwith and comcast will eyther be forced to expand that limit or not count that traffic on your monthly limit. or they will start having some majer issues.

    the avg mp3 is abought 5 megs and the avg pic is around 500 kb. so that makes the limit 150 gigs like most people orignaly thought. im pretty shure thats the table they use.

    eve on wine/cedega has been inproved alot yea but i rember when it first emulated eve it was relly slow. wow the biggest mmo out there runs almost the same under cedega as it does nativly under windows. but wine is a api emulator and unfortanly it can fail at running stuff or run it badly. it has inproved over the years and cedega has a pretty big game list these days that it runs well. as for alot of mmorpg out there if they run nprotect you pretty mutch sol at running them under wine its due to nprotect using kernel modes wine cannot emulate not the game itsself been a few cases where people have striped nprotect out on said mmo and they run under wine then blame lazy coders for not fixing hacks themselfs but using that useless tool.

    compiz is ok but you genrely dont leave it on couse it can be annoying and slow down your pcs video playback turn it on and go to youtube and watch it lag. even if you have a top of the line pc and ifs powerd by a ati card guess what compiz will crash. this is going to couse some very majer issues with ubuntu and compatbly. i shure hope they misworded it as on by defult maybe they mean installed by defult.

    thats a first i ever heard of any company refusing a pc couse it has linux. its a hardware issue so it doesent matter whats on the pc. i have had linux on my pc for years and i rember having issues with my isp and this is softwhere hear and all they said is we dont support linux but we will still try and help pretty mutch asking if i can take there steps to fix a issue witch of course i could do in linux just a bit diffrently. i have never been turned away both hardwhere and softwhere just couse my pcs powerd by linux. i have to agree with most people thers more to this then what being said. the worst thing they could say is we dont support the softwhere but they cant say that abought hardware. maybe there where pissed they didnt knoe how to steal his info in linux hehe.

    it does very state to state and the stores rules. i did loss prevetion in mi in a mijer and if they walked out the door with the item we where not allowed to chase them. if we thought someone was stealing we had to catch them befor they left the store. im not shure what the rules are in this case.

    some do include recovery disk other have a recovery partation but you can make disk from that tools are normaly included. others simply have the os key printed on the back my pc did and a full os disk. point is no matter the company they always have some form of the disk included be it a tied to your machine type on the harddrive or a full os disk. the only time this does not apply is on a machine you built.

    well hp i knoe uses a recovery partation but also includes tools to burn a cd of that incase of hardrive faler. so the only change is the fact that insteed of including a prssed cd is they include tools for using a cdr.

    some states charge that tax when you title the car. vs on your taxes themselfs. at least in mi they do. at least i never had to report any car info there. i rember they gave me a hard time couse i payed 300$ for a newer model car a doge avanger but the car didnt run blown motor so i got it for cheap. of course they didnt wanna beleve that lol. so to shut up em i said do you have a bluebook on a non running avager lol they didnt have one lol.

    not kidding i was asking comcast abought there hosting abiltys one day. i wanted to open a site i knew would genrate alot of traffic. so i was asking abought there limits. this was long befor these storys of them cutting people off so i guess they didnt fear telling me. well the logic behind it is indeed flawed but it goes like this. comcast does indeed have no written limit its based on the top 3 percent. the avrage usage at that time was around 100gb but im pretty shure that has gone up sence stuff like youtube and iptv has come out. so there limit is not a static one but one based on what everyone else is doing but that top 3 percent things means someone is always getting screwed. thank god i dont have comcast anymore.

    i moved to a area that does not have comcast. its a smaller privet cable provider cable hear is pretty new. wile they lack the sheer speed of comcast at least i dont gotta worry abought getting cutoff. becides witbh stuff like fios and iptv coming i think cable companys better start worrying net will be alot faster then they provide and thers some direct competion to the tv market as well. greedy companys like comcast better get there act together.
