That must be your particular UPN affiliate. I have my PVR set for 8 p.m. every Wednesday and I've never had a problem; never sat down to watch ST:E and had to watch a sporting event. Not that it wouldn't be better or more interesting, mind you.

Well, there's that annoying Honda Element in SSX3. That's gratuitous if you ask me. But, hey, I remember it so I guess it's effective. Not as if I'd ever buy one of those dork boxes.

Oh! And let's not forget all the Duff beer ads in Simpsons Hit & Run. Mmmmm... Duff beeeeer.

It's also rather sad what editors (mainly Cliff) let slide by as "News for Nerds. Stuff that matters."...

Perhaps in 2004, we should just change that to "Nerds helping Morons. Stuff that's pointless."

    Sorry for the OT post.

Yes, but the project itself is an "urban" project since it deals with city issues. The chunnel was mass transportation between countries, whether it be urban or rural.

The post refers to the "largest ... project" undertaken, not the actual size of the completed project itself. I'm sure it's still debatable, but when looking at the effort, time, and resources (not just money) dumped into the Big Dig, I think it would stand out as the largest in that respect.

And, how do you consider an underwater tunnel to be an "urban project"?!?

It's really especially stupid when you consider that Comcast owning TechTV (or even the majority of it) would result in at least two things (neither do I see as beneficial):

    1) G4 sucks. Thus, TechTV would begin to suck. Worse than currently, if you can fathom that. More Robot Wars, anyone?

    2) Comcast would more than likely pull the "new" combined channel from DishNetwork and DirectTV. Now *that* would piss me off. Much of my reason for switching to Dish was based on the lineup, of which TechTV was a part of. I had no interest in watching more G4. The rest of my reason for dropping Comcast was b/c they sucked. You can have my TechTV when you pull it from my cold, dead hands.
