People said the same thing about the Flat-panel iMac. I think Ives designs takes some getting used to. I think it's slick, a co-worker thinks it's only a step below a tablet, and they should have gone the whole way. That, and the specs aren't much better than the Flat-panel iMac.
And if you read the wikipedia entry you linked to, you'd realise it just states the probability of a conversation involving Hitler or Nazis over time. It has nothing to do with stopping conversations
If that is not smooth enough for you, enable subdivision surface, and bump it to 6 (not the editor value, but the render value.
That should look close to a povray sphere primitive. Also, if you texture the planet, you can add a deform to that (high point due to subdivision) mesh you just created are really get a lot of bang out of your sphere.
Blender can't do volumetric stuff just yet. Tough, with as far as it's come since 2.3, it won't be long. The open-source Blender is way better than the closed source one, and getting better at a faster rate than POV. Then again, I think POV is perfect, so you can't improve on that very easily!
The Power Rangers solved this particular logistical problem by teleporting all of the other rangers to the head when they created the Zord. Obviously, the Japanese have done a lot of thinking on the subject and engineered an acceptable solution.
I type dvorak, and I switch to qwerty rather easily, thanks. The problem is not with my typing, but rather with my thinking lately. For some reason I am unable to think at greater than thirty words per minute qwerty or dvorak.
I loved the comment of surprise he makes (Ejole!) and his general smooth mannerisms. I'm still surprised that GF was LucasArts' only game to take a loss. Sad, really, since it was absolutely perfect like only Sam n Max and the first two Monkey Island games were.
Both Fandango and DOTT have a warm spot in my heart. Especially Hoagie and Thomas Jefferson. "Thomas!" And I swear the pound-keeper tentacle was making fun of Pittsburghers with that accent. He sounded exactly like a skit from a local radio show about the idiotic accent of my hometown.
You had to be stoned to understand wizball. But it was still entirely enjoyable, especially when one picks up the catball. And the metal riffs! Who could ever forget the metal riffs?
Lineage 2 is something I spent about $65 on, played for two months, and dropped yesterday. NCSoft North America has no say in its development or timelines, and they customer support generally sucks. The fact that nobody but Koreans are allowed to play Korean servers, but Chinese are allowed to play NA servers and collect in-game money for sale on eBay is just one of many things wrong with the game. I had a level 20 character, after my first 'career change' and I found the game to just be a long treadmill with a broken economy (you can level before getting a new pair of BOOTS in this game) and I'm giving up until I hear what they do in Chronicle 2.
Actually, a lot of the time, these people who collect in-game money, sit amongst 2 or more computers whilst macros take care of most of the work for them. I don't think this is the same as your friend working for you. Also, these people make the game experience unenjoyable for people who like the leveling treadmill.
That's #1 on my list of scientific advances I want to see. Cute fluffy permakittens.
I thought the point of 64-bit was bandwidth, not memory addresability. Just me?

It is part of Usenet tradition, not part of the original Godwin's law.
You Nazi. :P
It determines the winner after the argument is over, and it doesn't end the argument, even by that definiton of the law.

Try this in blender:

Welcome to the web site of the early 1990s!
If you want offensive, something worse. In other words, get over yourselves, people.
yes, but I hear they are darn good scientists.

'Colada' is Portugese for 'Glue'... Co-incidence?
MacIntosh? You have to be kidding. That's an apple, but not an Apple.

That would be Mr. Bill Johnson. The guy really made a mark on my mind as the Guardian. He even did so despite the "suck" of VIII and IX.

It doesn't stop me from using screen because I have to LOG IN first.
exactly, a foreign language. My cousin was fluent in Japanese, and they taught her Arabic in their Carmel school.
Kute.
We cast votes by blowing out candles in my home town, you insensitive clod!

Mira was perfect as a Minbari because English was her second or third language. A perfectly smooth-talking alien ambassador wouldn't make much sense.
I thought Pat Tallman was pretty bad. And sometimes Richard Biggs didn't perform well, but he was almost deaf, so I can't blame him much for that.

Adena Farms Inc© is a good explanation of how this hurts the gaming experience.
