Maybe I can get a used Game Cube for cheap now and play Windwalker, before moving to Twilight Princess.
Don't waste your time with a GameCube. Just hold out for a Wii and buy a WindWaker and a Waverbird controller. Get RE4 and Metroid Prime as well since they are both "bargain" games now.
The only thing I would add to that is you need a GC controller and a possibly GC memory card if the game requires one to play GC games on the Wii. Not a problem for folks that already have the older system but it sounds like grandparent post does not.
Zelda allows recalibration. You can set the size and location of the sensor bar as well as calibrate the accuracy of the Wiimote. It's in the Options menu when you press '2' in-game. I adjusted the sensor bar and it improved things greatly.
>> It's a reward-based, not a fear-based motivation. > > That's always seemed like an oxymoron. Kind of a glass half empty/glass half full.
Not at all. It's the standard motivation matrix: negative/positive + punishment/reward.
Negative reward: take something away to encourage a behavior Positive reward: give someting to encourage a behavior Negative punishment: take something away to discourage a behavior Positive punishment: give something to discourage a behavior
If I recall correctly, I believe most humans respond best to positive reward.
If a DVD can provide 480i quality full length movies,
DVDs are 480p. They are also 720 wide if they are "enhanced for widescreens".
This is the reason EDTV plasmas make a great choice for folks like me that mostly watch DVDs. They are cheaper and their native resolutions corresponds to DVD.
All of Pixars films have grossed well in excess of $100M. And that's only in the US. There is also the merchandise revenue to consider. I think $7.4B is not a bad price. And remember it's in stock.
My pencil, for instance, is an epic fail when my toilet gets clogged.
This second-generation iPhone will likely be available worldwide with either GSM...
The iPhone is already a quad band GSM phone.
> I've got a 12" Tablet PC, and that screen's quite small enough for me -- and I went out of my way to get 1400x1050.
What model Tablet PC do you have? I've never seen one with the SXGA+ resolution before.
> So, if you slap the BMW name on a hot cycle, does that make it a high performance, luxury vehicle?
You mean like these hot cycles?

I'm Rick James bitch.
Thunderbirds was the puppet show that inspired Team America.

I hope to God you used a script to generate that comment.
If you like the 6230, try the 6233. It's awesome.
All his failed projects remind me of this depressory: The only consistent feature of all your dissatisfying relationships is you.
I believe that will only give you 30 cookies.
The only complaint I have is the "elephant ear" type use when talking.
I believe it's referred to as side talkin'.
You ever hear Mark Wahlbergs rendition of "You got the touch" in Boogie Nights? Best cover ever.

The fact that Owen Wilson is voicing ...
Is it just me or is anyone else sick of the celebrities doing animated features? Maybe it is just me.

Why would Apple make a widescreen laptop?
The 15"(1280 x 854) and 17"(1440 x 900) Powerbooks are widescreen.

Sorry about the flash. This phone has no digits, only a scroll wheel. $600.
When you get a chance to watch it, check out the chick from MS. I've never seen a worse presenter. I wonder if Apple requested her on purpose.
How about Poopeating?
You must've just watched the Team America DVD.
Did you just change it to Gollum?
The state needs to start an aggressive Bat breeding program [batcon.org] to give the skeeter population a natural check besides insecticide.
Not sure how the bats would do over our harsh winters but I like the idea. I've been trying to preach the bat house gospel to anyone who will listen.
