100 is average by definition. The test determines your "mental age", which is divided by your real age and then multiplied by 100 to get a nice round number. Practically, anywhere from 90 to 110 is average due to variances in testing and all that jazz. This is according to my World Book Encyclopedia; The Wikipedia article makes no mention of this.
"Guns are only scary to people who haven't been properly trained and exposed to them."
Don't ask me why, but I'd say most Americans would fall under that category.
Yes, but people would feel threatened these days by the mere presense of such firepower, so you might be considered to be "brandishing" them anyway. Quite sad, really.
When Windows marketshare has declined sufficiently, common Linux GUIs can say good bye to Windows and go their own ways.
I thought you just said that users didn't want to have to relearn everything. How would decreased Windows marketshare change this?
Is there a reason that they didn't add capital letters into the algorithm?
Yeah, the more characters you check for, the more resources needed for the crack. (Apparently their algorithm uses gobs of memory instead of gobs of time)
Um, actually, some gun laws work like that. If you're carrying an otherwise legal gun out in the open and somebody goes "eek! he has a gun!", apparently you're guilty of brandishing a firearm in public.
Dude, a wanted individual is, well, wanted. If his NAME is incriminating (well, actually, his presence in a place), then he's done something wrong already , such as breaking parole or similar. If he hasn't done anything wrong, then giving out his name would not be "incriminating".
Sounds like the shield technology in Dune, only the interaction between the shields and a "lasgun" triggers an explosion comparable to a nuke in both the shield and the gun. Therefore combat is hand-to-hand and they occasionally use poisoned weapons...
If your distro has really good package management, (Gentoo, maybe Debian as well (haven't used it)? Personally, I don't like RPM) it's much more convenient than running Windows installers and uninstallers. For me it's just "emerge foo" and go.
They probably haven't got grounds for those cease-and-desists, but I'm not sure that sending letters to people asking that they stop something is illegal. See the assertion in their manuals that backup copies are unnecessary and that violators will be prosecuted, though backups are clearly necessary over the long term.
There is no copyright on "running code on hardware X", and the DMCA explicitly allows reverse engineering for purposes of interoperability. When you hear about modchip sellers getting busted, they're usually including hacked versions of copyrighted BIOSes with the chips, which IS a copyright violation.
Please apply proper blame and criticize the ALSA project, not the distributor. That said, see your siblings; I'm undecided about whether or not the assertion about max volume being bad is justified. I'd certainly be less SURPRISED if it started at max...

Just go to sleep if you're that impatient. After a few weeks it's mostly just updates anyway, so it's not like the system is unusable.

Well, the arms have NO power source, not even a fictional one. Kinda disappointing there...
I think IceWM is supported on Mandrake...so is enligtenment. Both of these are as of version 9 - I run Gentoo now, so I can't comment on Mandrake 10.
Solaris 2 is aka known as as SunOS 5.x...
Worst...thing...ever. "also known as known as as" has to break some sort of record for ineptitude.

No, no...TMTOWTDI is the beauty of Perl. Stop stealing our motto!
I can't believe I phrased it that way. Wow. Terribly sorry...
It's used for I/O. See here

"Productive work"...you mean like investing?
What about when you die, if you have a sizeable music library (such could be considered an asset) how will your family be given access to it?
Well, obviously you won't be needing those fingers anymore...

"Those drake wizards" made my brain hurt. Then I switched to Gentoo.
That's called "progress". Contrast with OSS, which is called a "threat to civilization".
Video games aren't just for kids anymore! 'Nuff said.
