The IDA Pro Book
·
· Score: 1
It comes with a help file which describes some of its API functions for scripting and describes some of its windows. What is in this book is not just a top to bottom overview of a very complex application but extensive documentation on areas such as plugin development and internal data structures which absolutely are not documented anywhere. even on the series of tubes we call the internet. The book is also focused towards how to actually accomplish real world tasks with the program, which you would never find in a regular manual.
FWIW, I am a professional reverse engineer and have been using IDA for many years and I can easily say this book is very useful and is very well done to boot.
I think the ACLU simply doesn't want the government to have that power. Its not a direct accusation of any wrongdoing on the part of the border patrol. Of course someone in law enforcement will enjoy having the ability to stop anyone at any time for no reason, and without a doubt it would lead to more legitimate arrests for terrible crimes. There are many people including the founders of the country who believe that the government should not have this power despite what a great law enforcement tool it may be. The ACLU simply believes that no law enforcement aid is worth casting away the very foundation of the country and the inalienable rights of its citizens.
There are a few lenovo thinkpad models now with WUXGA resolution (1920x1200) in both 15 and 17 inch form factors. I am also a resolution junkie. I personally use the 15 inch WUXGA and it is a thing of real beauty. Apple will never put out a laptop with that kind of resolution because they always keep their DPI the same (I assume for consistency in graphics application so they can say that X number of pixels means Y inches with some certainty).
because ninjas are better. simple fact. ninjas are cutting off heads while pirates a trying to find buried treasure. its a simple choice, if you ask me.

You are right on the money! civilized people shouldn't be having sex and the more we can cover it up the better! Sex will be the downfall of civilization and the thought of pixelated "woo-hoo" just makes me want to stab somebody in the face.

Did you read my post? Do you understand what I mean by key strategic resources? How exactly did you interpret jeans and T-shirts as key strategic resources? These products you mention can be easily supplied elsewhere in this global economy with the proper investements. The geographic distribution of petrolium presents a unique situation for the middle east as they control the vast majority of one of our most important natural resources. There is no such geographic circumstances that state how much of the computer components/jeans/t-shirt/rice market they have control over. It would be economically disadvantageous for us to embargo them since they are quite cheap and have the infrastructure to produce high volumes in these areas. The basic point is that this country will still operate without new computer components/jeans/t-shirts/rice from china. This country will not operate without oil from the middle east.
Our president a few years ago released an agenda for alternative enegery sources (with hydrogen mistakenly getting all the attention). The PR spin on this was to play up the environmental aspects of these efforts. The real motive was to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Notice also that this was at the same time that they were pushing the agenda of expanding oil drilling efforts in alaska. I just don't see these kinds of efforts being made in the key strategic resource markets of jeans and t-shirts, sorry.
could someone please explain why America is not at war with China?
Because they do not threaten any key strategic resources of the U.S.
The U.S. has a strong strategic interest in the middle east due to our economic, industrial and military dependance on oil. The main vulnerability of this country is the foreign control of our oil supply. The Middle-East has a proverbial knife at our jugular.
If Asia had a resource as significant and vital to our survival as the middle east has with oil, I would bet that we would be more inclined to secure our interest in that resource. That means war if necessary.
And those are just the ones that make the news. There are protests there EVERY day. Not important stuff, but stupid stuff like SAVE THE AMAZONIAN THREE-TOED JUMPING LIZARDS or whatever. Not to mention all the truck convoys and bicycle "gangs" that "march" on the capital all the damn time. I sometimes wish people were a bit more afraid to speak their minds, because they really annoy me.
close, 4 ingredients: barley (or wheat), yeast, hops and water. Malt sugar is the converted starch from partially germinated barley or wheat and is technically the "barley" ingredient.
I thought murderers were supposed to be tried and sentenced, not slaughtered to sate your rather frightening desire for bloody revenge
Ha! Funniest thing I've read in a while! You actually think that Osama bin Laden would show up for his court appointment? Please tell us oh great Anonymous sage, how do you plan to bring him to justice?
Nope, they (terrorists in general) want American troops out of the Middle East.
Wow, have you forgotten Israel? Are you suggesting that terrorist focus more on the US than Israel?
attempt to bring the criminals in question to trial, and (through other means) settle the greivances
Considering they mostly want total destruction of America and the western world, how do you suggest we "settle" the grievances? If we cave in the slightest bit or pay heed to any of their demands then we are thereby justifying their terrorism as a means to enact change. I seriously doubt that is the message you want to send to the world.
Statistically devote religious people tend to be happier, live slightly longer, and have a better sense of community than others.
Wuh? Care to share you sound "statistical" source? Personally I would love to know how you measure how happy people are and particularly their sense of community in a quantative means that would be required for a statistical study you claim to be citing.
They said he was a one-hit-wonder after Reservoir Dogs, then a two-hit-wonder with Pulp Fiction. Now people want to say he is simply a three hit wonder with Kill Bill vol.1 and I guess a four hit wonder with Kill Bill vol.2. At that point it is no longer an insult but a complement.
Either that ripped of the movie or visa versa. But since that is nothing more than internet folk lore, I would bet that it ripped of the movie. One great movie BTW.
The article still fails to mention who will decide what software "makes the cut". If I was working on project X and some dude told me to stop what I was doing and work on my competing project Y, despite the fact that I hate project Y, I and most people would probably tell that person to go away. The sense of devotion that people feel to their favorite software is hard to break, and the open source community is certainly a product of devotion.
I think the only way that a single contender can rise to the top of the software heap is by natural selection. Let the opposing groups battle it out, if one package is truely better the results will start to show after a period of time. The same goes for Linux distro's and BSD variants etc.

GetVersionEx() returns the Major OS version in numeric form. Currently, the values are as follows:
4 - The operating system is Windows NT 4.0, Windows Me, Windows 98, or Windows 95.
5 - The operating system is Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000.
6 - The operating system is Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008.
Thus, Windows 7 will probably return a GetVersionEx() Major Version number of.... 7.
holla
I find your ideas intriguing and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
A decent gui toolkit that doesn't cost $5000 a seat would help me use CL more. Other than that, great language.
1. You can learn it in a day and see for yourself. 2. ? 3. Profit!
Are you the same Otter that used to teach TCP/IP programming at the learning tree? If so, you rock dude.
I swear I read this EXACT story 3 years ago.
You mean pinjas. They are teh suck. Almost as bad as clowns or robots.

I could be wrong, but I believe kirin ichiban is japanese.
It was also Jesus who said:
"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." (Matthew 10:34)
