    Since when can Linux scale past four CPUs with a customized version that costs major $$$ for support?
    Since when does windows, come to think of it, since when does windows scale beyond two processors without buing the kilodollar(tm) advanced server package?

    5.1's ports system has done well by me... I've only had one major build problem with it (read: I installed php instead of mod_php) and it was fairly easy to remove

    make deinstall; FORCE_PKGREGISTER=1 make install

    It beats the hell out of portage... Nothing but problems there

    I know being a subscriber to EarthLink that they say it is unlimited time while you are in front of your computer. So trying to claim you were in front of your computer for 3 days straight wouldn't fly. (not even with enough caffeine.)

    Salt Strings Provide good protection against things like that... using a 4 byte salt you add 2^32 extra tables to any procomputation scheme.

    That an null Padding an address (Or Padding with A-Za-z) to the maximum length (Per RFC) you should create a level of complexity that would block such searches till long after the address (and it's owner) expires

    Note: SaltedHash = HashFn(Plaintext + Hash);

    Reality Check, We're not a Democracy... It was Never Intended to be that way... `Lex Rex' is the basis for our government (ie: a Republic), and democracy is be definition a `Rex Lex' government (ie: the same as Kingship).

    Learn latin and then read dissertations by the founding fathers... you'll find that the democratic aspect of the republic is simply there to allow a `Lex Rex' [Law is King] system to mature, not for direct democracy.

    Worst of all, I think working as a Microbiologist for Gallo Wines is the worst possible scientific job... I Actually know what goes into NightTrain now... Stuff is so foul they don't even do Microbe tests on it... they just fake the Results.

    A lot of people realize that most of their new software will run on the .NET runtime virtually eliminating (probably) most of the programming vulnerabilities that exploits take advantage of (buffer overflows, unchecked casts, etc).

    Hrm... with Microsoft's track record, and the Mono Projects [[really big]] gaping flaws... do you really belive that?

    Better Yet, lets imagine .NET becomes the de-facto API for programming... in the case that is [[probably is]] flawed, instead of having one or two gaping holes in a program/suite, every application suddenly takes on the attributes of IIS, Word, Outlook [Insert other Bad Program(s)].

    In short, dream on.
