    Amen to that, brother.

I've had many friends who bought the equipment, then made the effort. All have failed.

After leaving the army, I put on about 12 kg = 24 pounds = 2 stones and had many false starts trying to get back into shape. Wasn't until I decided to start slow, follow a 12 week program, and just plain do it, no gadgets, no caring how I looked, that I got back into shape.

As winter came closer I had to get some warmer stuff. Now, after running tri-weekly for 3 years my running wardrobe looks like the one my friends would buy to begin with.

ESA and RKA did partner up in the early nineties to do exactly that. After the Europeans had shifted their efforts away from Hermes (the European mini-shuttle), the Russians bailed out due to economic concerns and left Europe nowhere.

Despite the fact that you posted this AC, I'm really curious about what you're saying. I personally have talked to very few people who have ever partaken in the production of porn, but I certainly recognize how a lot of the people in front of the camera have lived - or live - a tumultuous life. But what puzzles me is how people only seem to focus on the female aspect of this industry. What about the guys who are brought in, expected to perform, and then flushed out? Very few guys I've met like to engage in absolutely random sex with people they do not know. Sex is just as personal for them as it is for anybody else. It always angers me when a porn movie made with unknowns is being portrayed as particularly degenerative to the women involved, not recognizing that the guys involved wash up on a another beach, and this one strangely quiet, with no media coverage, and no sympathy.

  15. Re:cgi porn on Message in a Battle · · Score: 2, Insightful
So I take it that you consider any regular porn exploitation of women?

I would venture that either you consider both sexes equally exploited in porn - or you consider neither of the sexes exploited. Seems to me men and woman face the same choice before getting involved in the porn industry.

Both are portrayed as huge, chugging, ever-hungry slabs of meat (which is fine given that this is after all what porn is about). I fail to see why porn exploits women any more in that situation than it does men.

Yeah, you are of course correct. The bold typeface would mean nothing to people who didn't know what to look for, except that they might be visually guided towards the actual domain first.

The problem with "Do not show this again" is that most users think they will then forget. They opt for annoyance over ignorance. I think the best solution would be for a "bubble" to pop up, pointing towards the address bar with a text like:

This address contains elements that could mean a security threat. To help you identify the website you are actually visiting, the domain name has been highlighted in bold. More information

Of course bubbles aren't really part of the Mozilla UI guidelines, so either they would have to be, or some other similar solution would have to be devised.

And there would be no reason to pop up, which is just plain distracting.
