Cable companies pay a bribe, ummm I mean a fee to municipalities in exchange for exclusive access. So unless Google plans on paying tribute to your crime family, I mean, local government, then nothing will change.
Ya can't fuck it up. Well ya can't fuck it up more than Time Warner. Unless you stop having service completely, forever. Better than that you're on par with Time Warner.
But the real point here is that Comcast now owns the lagest VoIP network in the nation if not the world. One stop shopping for the NSA while Obama's FCC gets to tax it some more.
It's pretty much stopped making 'stuff' and sells intangible services while snapping up other people's software companies and rebranding them. But services require too much linear labor input even at firesale prices in China so it's probably just as well that half the employees now are lawyers and accountants. Soon IBM will be a holding company for buying and selling intellectual property and that's pretty much it.

Oh I dunno, my Galaxy becomes unstable enough with an average sized suite of apps. I can't see how adding more to tell you about the status of the status is really going to help.
That's the required baseline on internal builds. To be fair the real browser is FF24 ESR or something like that but in terms of actual 100% applications compatibility - IE10 is the new go-to when all else fails. This is a new thing, as they relied on IE9 until about a month ago. But hey, if you can even get them to pay for it, MS Office 2003 is the rad new office suite. There's Lotus Symphony that all workstations must have installed but no one actually uses it. Symphony is based on Apache Office 3 so it's got all the golly gee-whiz features of that, and it also has all sorts IBM add ons which means it takes about 90 seconds to start up unless you have it autostarted in the system tray.
Time Warner is the problem for the most part. My LAN link of a quadzillion gigabytes is nice to be sure and if you decide you need a wireless fileserver for all the internets of things in your house might be useful but the problem is Conchita and Ramesh over at Time Warner who both don't care that you're paying $140/month for an internet connection 1/20th of that speed and, the fact that having it available 80% of the time at all is fine.
So 18 is about 9. And 9 year olds can't drive. That's why. As each generation takes longer and longer to reach maturity they're stuck in a semi permanent twilight zone of childhood where nothing is expected of them or by them.
Yes and no. After years of struggling with NoScript I've discovered that the widget actually bogs down the system more than the scripts it's blocking, and second, javascript is going to kill the internet. The average website has 4 or 5 LAYERS of javascript and runs something like 2 or 3 dozen scripts. But the effort of Noscript to block them can be pretty incredible.
The only real remedy is a human one - ignore all the ads and garbage and as a matter of course never buy anything from an advertiser.
the stuff he uses is 1,000x more potent than morphine
Tweets and Snapchat are the pushing the attention span envelope at this point.
Maybe one out of a thousand. If it's a better career they should pay you more. Otherwise it's an Avocation not a Vocation.

Thinks you're gay. And fat.
And why not tax the hell out of people who actually make something of their lives so that everyone else doesn't have to?

Oh it was mostly just plain old stealing and treason. Ok thanks. We knew that.
Will just be people suing each other. All products and services will have long since stopped existing at all.
Because those $500/each headlights are pretty awesome. They'd better last forever.
Being a Sprint customer?

Like a Treblinka shower. I didn't know there were so many liberals here @ /.

Smarter Planet.
I can't wait for the EU to institute internal travel controls, 'for your safety'.

Can't be lost on everyone.
Good Jorb, ladies.
That's a done deal through virtualization anyway. Cram 20 images on a few MPU blades.
Just the commodity low end part of it e.g. the servers in a single server cabinet, the small office market. Large Intel servers are still IBM.

The EU criminalized speech that defames Islam and in some rare cases, Christianity.
