  1. I thought text enty was bad on PSP ... how Clickw? on Apple To Unveil iPod Cellphone Next Week? · · Score: 1

I know lots of people love the clickwheel. It is great for a menu only system. However I hate to think what trying to get a number into the system would be like. click .. click ... clickk ..dang pass 8 again... clickkk ... (Yes I have set my clock it wasn't too bad but a number pad makes sense to dial with. ;) Otherwise meh..there are lots of MP3 cells out and TBH I'd say that iPod harddrive makes it a touch heavy for carry. *shrugs*

This sound like the type of item that someone who's very ill but wants to be at home needs. It's a lot cheaper to say have a team of doctors and nurse with cars then a hospital and having at home visits for people who can't aford a nuring home or are living with relatives at work all day could bring a lot of peace of mind. I doubt more then an idea number would be attached and is likly reprogramable. Tho home visiting sound pricly to those of you in the US who gov. refuses to give access to free health care. in Canada having at home delation machines with a nurse that comes over each morning to unplug people and each evening to plug them in has really improved wait times in hospitals, and quilty of like for the folk get the delation cause they get clean blood every morning. Anyway doctors already have a confidensaled loop in the law. With good reason if this are high risk people then it's unlikely there going to be going for a walk to rob the back.

  3. Re:Old Fashioned on When Should You Buy Your Kid A Laptop? · · Score: 1

Well you look a touch monder to me. My parents asked would have be "when do you let you kids use word processer". Personally my view is that Primary and High School students don't need a laptop. A desktop is fine and is much less likely to get hurt or stolen. IF your kids are going away and moving alot (say Co-op at Post-Secondary) then a laptop is sensable. Really being able to write is a very useful skill, the ablty to do math at least times for sales tax. I think laptops say a lot about trust levels in the house. Anyway it's easier to get a Desktop with the power to play games (not FPS but there are games like Zork, Black & White and the like) second bouse on Desktop is there very shareable. To summaries: If your kid is not really a child and it moving out for school or traveling for massive amounts of time then it's time to talk about it. Otherwise a nice desktop or 2 at home is fine and send them with books and pen and invest in a good ref. books for using and learning to look life up in old fashtion style. I'm typing this from a laptop and my sister is going to gr. 12 and only shares her desktop with my mom. (I however finished College)

I watch the documetar that came with my DVD OT. And it said for ESB Luscas had to pay huge fines over no openning creidts with the actors names so he resigned. Soooo why does the MPAA even care? Personal I'd think that the half the Stars War going popluation that did download it would be the part who will be coming up with triva questions like: "How many seconds does R2D2 burn his(its) thrusts to alight the oil he spill?" or "what is the name of the drooid that devilder Luke and Ledia?" Somehow I find it hard to believe Luscas lost much to DL.

It's MS, of course on the spec sheet it's backward compatable. not only is if you preform the rite of "Bill Gates" at 9:45am on Thrudays in a sweat vest. Other wise the most helpful thing the console is likely to do is tell you that it doesn't know the is a CD in it's drive and the worst is try to run the program then "Green Screen" (Blue being reserved for products running Windows.) **Actually cause their hopful that ppl will buy into the new xbox without the old old. Well personally I love gaming. I'm just not a huge fan of killing stuff. I've noticed that most games in the end are a blood hunt. I play games with invold killing things ...www.game.org...mmm TEXT ... But personally I'd rather not see huge amounts of blood all over my screen. I REALLY wish that game makers would make a few more games today like the old (early 90s lates 80s) Day of the Tentical or Zork, Monkey Island(all of them) and Loom. (No not Doom, Loom). IE collect tons of dumb stuff and puzzel it together WITHOUT the need to kill more then a few plants. It's the type of game even my sister who thinks gaming is almost evil can't help but enjoy for hours.

No joke, I had mine pre ordered (and I will point out I live in a part of town where million dollar start homes are a couple of blocks away.) I was talking to the sales reps in the new ebgames who told me they had about 15 units (the stores is only 3 months old) and a couple of ppl hadn't pick up yet there pre orders tho now I noticed they where from 15 - 3. But $350 bucks (Canadian pricing b/c they HAD to make us get Grezey hockey) it's just quiet a lot of cash. I think Japan did better launching at Xmas cause ppl have it in there mind for gifts. Most ppl I know are worrying about taxes about now. Got to say tho I am enjoy it. Couple of the kids around the block though it was very cool but pointed out it was just too big to the Easter Bunny.

I happen to like being in a story line on the bus, cause it helps me forgot that at 22 I am still on the $#@ thing. (I live in the sub urbers) The PSP could be smaller but I got to say I also have the MadCaz inlargin screen thing to see the screen on GB. My only problem with the PSP is that the remote earphones cord doesn't stay in very well...but as I'll be most of the time running the ipod for tunes I can't say it's a huge crime. Just because it's a feature doesn't mean you have to use it. *snicker*
