We have a free market of ideas in this country - if Moore's film is so bad, why not make their own film, or post anti-Moore blogs or buy airtime to put their views out?
They don't need to buy airtime, they already have Fox News. To me, it seems like most American "news" networks and "news" shows are anti-Moore since they are all right-leaning.
Because we were students! The money went into new equipment or whatever.
Most student jobs, whether they are highly technical or not, were paid at the minimum wage level. Hell, we were extremely happy to have those jobs, and it was competitive to get them.
You have to take some sacrifices when you're very young and just starting off. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.
I worked at my university's UNIX lab for minimum wage wihle I was still in school. It was for the engineering school, so they had money to buy lots of equipment and upgrades. The student "admins" had to do a variety of tasks, from helpdesking to installing new hardware or even coding. It was also fun to work with people arond your own age and in a non-corporate drone environment.
I mean really, what loaded sysadmin women fill these things out and do they need a developer and/or boyfriend!?!
We do not get paid more than our male counterparts. In fact, in most industries, we are paid significantly less than a male doing the same job with the same level of education.
The other thing you can do is - if you can set up an intranet for this - make people enter a request to have work done. Have them assign a priority to it.
If you allow the users to assign a priority, they will always claim the highest priority available. I've seen this over and over again.

It's better to have someone else determine the severity of the task requested and assign it an appropriate priority level.
It was on one side of the building facing Alexanderplatz. It's a big square, and so there are no cars. From here was the best view.
Drivers on the street that pass in front of the building could only see it for a few seconds when they were right in front of it and also looking up. I doubt it was much of a distraction to them.
I feel so privileged. ! Goatse not only sent me a message, but also tried to contact me through Yahoo Messenger when I did not reply to him in a timely enough fashion. Hi Mike1234!
I've encountered money exchangers in various countries that would not accept the older, smaller-headed bills. Some were in Europe, some were in Central America.
And of course IT is going to the lead the rest of the categories, since unemployed IT people are more likely spending their (abundant) free-time surfing on the webnet.
And where do I sign up?
I've only noticed a spammer once on the main page, and I've been using del.icio.us every day for a while now.
I emailed Joshua (the creator) and he banned them right away.

And if they are used to outlook, they would not even expect to be able to read old mails without a connection to their inbox on the exchange server.
You've obviously never used Outlook + Exchange. One can work in off-line mode and read old mails, no connection to the server needed.
Only in the USA does one have to pay to receive an SMS.
