.. or they could release just a video ipod, and people will buy it even if they already own an ipod. Besides the idea of having to carry around a screen to go with your portable device would quickly find its way into the bottom of your messenger bag, it's just too cumbersome.

I bought a sony flat panel at christmas time, top of the line 800 dollar type stuff. I figured for the price point, the odds of it having one, let alone many, dead pixels were slim to none. Sure enough I bring it home and several dead pixels were always on. I am wondering if this is just common to sony LCDs in seeing this whole mess with the PSP. On a side note, if you connected the red always on pixels on my screen, I could swear it formed a middle finger. Go figure.

I always wanted a "Joey from Full House Simulator", but this is about as close as im gonna get. Now if only I can find a "Mushy music to go with the moral lesson I just learned simulator", my life would be complete.
The problem with some of you making all these claims on how eye candy on the UI is just this evil thing seems a little unfounded. If you like your fvwm or whatever, then great stick to it. But don't discourage this kind of innovation just because you think its useless. I am certain you will be able to turn it off if you don't like it. Remember, you will always have your bash shell to cuddle up with at night.
I know lots of people that use one-hand to interact with the physics engine in Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball, the problem is trying to use the other hand on the controller
We dont know how to vote, subsequently we dont get cowboy bebop movies. Maybe if Spike was edited out and re-filmed live as Vin Diesel or something, then this state might just find the movie shallow enough to enjoy. I hate Florida.
