Big "college" has gotten to the point, the degrees are worthless. With "everyone" going in debt 40,50 thousand
or more, there is a GLUT of college graduates. Not only that, they are in degrees to which there are not enough
jobs, depressing wages, but, the university "system" gets fat. Kids are convinced by others that you can't get
anywhere without a 4 year college education. Bunch of BS. I got an associates in electronics in 1980. I've NEVER
been unemployed or under employed. Came out completely debt free with a good paying job (for 1980 wages) with
Texas Instruments.
These kids are getting hood winked into this crappy college debt, then can't figure out how to pay for rent/mortgage,
debt, food, utilities and on and on.
Sales will slow, prices will have to come down, to attract buyers. The steep increase in prices to the point
600-800 dollar phones are considered "normal" is insane!
200-300 dollar build costs, for "flagships" that retail for $1000? Insane!
During the week, I rarely use spotify. On the weekends, though, when I'm out driving, I use it a lot.
How about a pay-as-you-go option, along with a monthly option or something.
Just a PR stunt by Apple. It's just taking the phone apart. Apple doesn't give a rip, except to make a
claim of "recycling". If they were so concerned, they would pounce on their Chinese partner(s) to make
conditions better for their "slaves", and who knows what they get away with for the miners that mine the
rare earth material. Apple says "but that isn't us, that's a supplier".

Look what happened to Huawei, now ZTE. If I were a lot of these manufacturers, I wouldn't even bother trying to
break into the USA market. Bunch of fools in the USA think you HAVE to buy a phone from a carrier store, which
means you are pushed toward the apple/samsung brands. Oh, but they offer zero down, zero interest!!! Yeah,
they got rid of the 2 year phone contract, now lock you into the no money down no interest (unless you pay off
the phone early) 2 year contract. Then tag you for this fee, that fee, etc...jacking up your bill.
There is a whole world of great phones out there, but, unless you search them out, pay full retail (sometimes you
can get 2 for the price of the iphone/samsung stuff), you'll never hear of them.

Couple reasons why THAT won't ever work.
1. Congress since it's beginning (BOTH parties) have spent that money decades ago
2. It was set up at a time, when the average lifespan was 67 years old, which meant that most
people would never spend all of their money saved, propping up the system for years.
3. Since 1 & 2 aren't working any more, SS is doomed to collapse on itself soon.
For SS to "work", that money stolen from you each paycheck, should be locked away in a PRIVATE non-government-can-access-it-anytime-they want system. Also, the retirement age, should be increased to say 70. Or, people should opt out of SS
but still be required to set aside some of their paycheck in some sort of safe retirement system.
SS was another one of those "do gooder" ideas under the New Deal by FDR. The new deal crap extended the depression for years, and, had it not been for the U.S. getting into WW2, who knows how long it would have lasted.
To figure out this was a joke, will never work, as most SOCIALIST programs DO NOT work.

They did a test years ago. They found that women are better at directions based on color, buildings, names etc
and men were better with left/right/street names.
I use to dispatch 911, and it was comical sometimes, before the ability to know the address location before even
picking up the phone, trying to wrestle the location of the person in a rural area. 1 mile could be anywhere from
a couple hundred feet, to several miles. Left/right depended on which way they THOUGHT you would be coming.
It's just habit for me. I always still to this day, say take road x south, turn west, or right on road y, and it will be the
3rd house on the north, or left side of the road. Also, I will give the description of a location, and anything like a fence,
cars, color or anything else because it just makes it easier.

To stop people from repairing their own devices....BRICK them with a software update.
If you purchase a device with a warranty, then by all means, LEAVE it alone until the
warranty period expires, but, after that, you should have the right to repair it as you see
fit. Now, that being said, if the replacement part(s) through no fault of your own, are defective,
(unless Apple bricks them) that is on your own to take up with the repair vendor.
If you don't purchase an overpriced repair part for your overpriced phone, we will figure out a way to make your
phone not work.
But...don't forget, we are Apple...you can trust us.
I find it interesting (well, not really) how Zuck was all about how bad they were, or how terrible it was that all of
that data was "used" in the 2016 election, but SAID NOTHING about willingly giving it to the Obama campaign
for their use. Hypocrite.
California is mulling an idea where websites will be responsible for things posted, and must be
fact checked by the state government for "truth". Once you start down the road, there will be no
turning back. I don't care for about 75% of the crap on the web, but, I simply IGNORE it.
