If EV is to "take off" they need to compete in the level playing field. If you have to use a subsidies to get people to buy these overpriced, under powered (range) things, then it won't work. Plus, they require more energy to produce, more energy to recharge (not to mention time required to charge), and have extremely caustic batteries that wear out and need to be disposed of.
Kids were told, you can't get anywhere without a four year college degree.
Now, it's the supply is WAY outstripping demand, which means, anyone with an XYZ degree
will see a REDUCED salary to start off, since it is a employers market.
Plus, considering some of the people I've seen come out of universities, they wouldn't be able
to hold a job. To busy with their phone, too many demands, no work ethic and on and on.
Not to mention a lot of them are ignorant in common sense.
Two year trade schools are where the money is right now, but, for a lot of kids, that means actually
getting their hands dirty, something they wouldn't want to do, which means more H1B visas.
Guess they are just screwed. I know you city dwellers that never leave the city, don't get why
people live in "flyover country", but there are a TON of potential customers that will be out of
all television. Most live too far away for over the air, now that all the signals are digital and their
power to reach is very limited.
I do a lot of traveling in the midwest. Satellite dishes are EVERYWHERE.
Someone will come along to take over that market.
Guess what...MORE species have died on in the history of Earth, than are alive right now.
How are we, mere humans, suppose to know what is suppose to live or die off?
Usually first thing I do with a laptop, is set it up, then pull and shelf the HDD/SDD until the warranty period ends.
I install a blank drive, set it up how I want. Granted, if the bug is embedded in the bios or something, can't really
do anything about that, but for the most part, that should clean it out, not to mention getting rid of the bloat.
For the mess with SS.
THAT mess, was started by the darling of the left, "progressive" FDR. Then, both democrat & republican representatives
in the house, along with their allies in the senate (all SPENDING bills have to start in the house), changed the rules about
SS and started moving money around, allowing NON CITIZENS to be "entitled" to it even though they never put into it.
Plus, at the time SS was "created" the average lifespan of a U.S. citizen was 65, meaning that most would never either
see that money, or not live very long to take all they had contributed. Now, the average lifespan of a U.S. citizen is 79
years old, which means they draw SS for 14 years longer than originally intended. Couple that with all the "borrowing"
from SS and you see why it is in the mess it is in! Not to mention it never would have worked in the first place, because
you would of had a better return, investing somewhere else.
From what I have witnessed, having been "in business" since 1981, is a LOT of the millennials, have NO work
ethic. No just me, but I have talked to many people who have hired someone, that failed to show up on their
start date, then when WE finally get in contact with them after they accepted a job, they say "oh, I changed my
mind, or oh, I got a different job". Didn't even have the COURTESY of calling back.
And, they want with NO EXPERIENCE, paid time off, sick days bla bla bla. Plus, you have to watch them or they
will just sit around and do nothing.
Add to that, with NO experience, they want a high salary because they have "massive debt" they are trying to pay
off. NOT everyone needs to go to an expensive 4 year university. Trade schools offer a good way to make a living
and are IN DEMAND, but a lot of the millennials don't want to work hard, just sit on their butts and play video games.

CASHLESS, means EVERYTHING you purchase, EVERYTHING you earn is noted by "the government".
Once this globe falls into the one world order, with EVERYTHING controlled by the imperial United Nations
(or whatever they call it), ANYTHING you attempt to purchase, will be approved or denied by the global
rulers.
Hard currency, be it gold, barter or whatever, keep the governments nose OUT of your business.
Cashless is touted now as "secure & convenient" which is just a ruse to get you to give up more of
your privacy.
Banks, finance companies, auto companies can just tell the vehicle to come home LOL.
Here's an easy way to stop that...park your car INSIDE your garage LOL.
Oh, I could see this pan out to the ultimate...Smart house, smart car.
The bank etc...wants the car back, it tells the smart car to return, and has the smart house
open the garage for you.
Park your car inside a faraday cage LOL.
I've been in the copier/printer/fax business since 1981.
In the mid 80's, fax machines really took off, but, we had a hard time getting people to use them. The excuse was always "but I can't get rid of my messenger...I've always had a messenger". Now, I get the same complaint. "I can't get rid of my fax, I've always had a fax".
I learned WAY MORE about the telephone system (USA) than I ever wanted to know, to figure out why fax transmissions/receptions would flake out over the decades. Now, with VoIP, as long as the ATA box is T.38 compliant, 99% of the time I can get them to work, but, most of the time, I have to turn off the V.34 modem, ECM, slow them down to 14.4k because of network problems, ATA boxes with sucky cache and what not. We sell more fax cards that go into multifunction copier/printers now, than we ever did with a stand alone fax.
It's funny when I tell one of my users...ummm, you do know that you don't have to print it, then fax it. Just "print" the document, select the fax machine as a printer, select the number from your address book or type it in, and it goes from your PC direct to the fax?
It's like I told them they have this new feature called SLICED BREAD.
I wish they would kill off faxing, but we have a ton of hospital type accounts and they won't budge on email, even with encryption.
Too worried about HIPAA violations.
Seems like every time there is a new book, article, documentary..."DB Cooper" pops up.
Give it up. He's dead, probably has been for decades, that is if he even survived.
It's really a beautiful city. The photo in the picture shows the large building, the BOK (Bank of Oklahoma) building, not scene to the west of this photo is the BOK center, hockey, basketball and large concerts. In May they close off the entire downtown area for a festival. Good times.
Yeah, there are bad sections of Tulsa, as you would expect in any major city, but it has the Arkansas River area which is being built up, a beautiful Oklahoma Aquarium, and many things to see and do.
I'm from southwest Missouri, 3 hour drive and I'm down there about 5-6 times a year. Never had a bad time in Tulsa.
Now, the traffic on 71st near the mall can be a zoo most of the time, or on 71st, around the Rhema Bible Church during
Christmas with their HUGE walk through Christmas light display.
And, you might have to put up with a tornado from time to time, but they usually skip over most of the city proper.
Or you would kick these a-hats out of power in Chicago, the peoples republic of Illinois.
Your dear leaders are only there to HELP you. (yeah, to steal more of YOUR money).
We're screwed!
We "eliminate" mosquitoes. Then, the species that only survive on mosquitoes or their larvae die off.
Then the species that only exist on those die off and so on and so on and so on.
Or, the species that mosquitoes "kill off" overpopulate and kill off something else and so on.
It's called a balance of nature. LEAVE IT ALONE
When the "one world order" types regulate the internet, it will STIFLE freedom, not promote it.
It's just more of a way of SHUTTING DOWN those that don't have the same views as the "new world order"
types.
I started using my watch, samsung pay, because, as I understand it, between my bank & the watch/phone/app, it sends a ONE TIME token through the POS reader, instead of the card information. If that is exactly how it works, even if they get a "card number" it won't do a thief any good because it's only good for a one time use.
If EV is to "take off" they need to compete in the level playing field. If you have to use a subsidies to get people to buy these overpriced, under powered (range) things, then it won't work. On TV on 4k, let alone 8k
There isn't anything on television, that's worth the bandwith of 4K... Just another way to rip off viewers with data caps.

Just wait til the telemarketers get a hold of this somehow. They can just get rid of the 3rd world country people they hire and use this!

After Jobs passed away, the "bean counters" took over.
You think he cares if his company falls apart some day in the future? Nope, he's already hidden away his wealth.
Or you would kick these a-hats out of power in Chicago, the peoples republic of Illinois. Your dear leaders are only there to HELP you. (yeah, to steal more of YOUR money).
I have an Essential. It's amazing how it pulls a decent photo out an almost black scene.
