Less awesome. It may take fewer keystrokes, but cmd is not an adequate shell compared to OS X's terminal. Besides, my desktop gives me yakuke with zsh just by pressing the menu key.

I'm happy to hear that the crew is not in serious danger, but it's still past time that we replace the shuttle, which was a poor compromise from the start, with something SnApPiEr.
I have used OO, and I am / was a beta tester for office 2007. There is no comparison. While I am usually critical of Microsofts offerings, I have to say Office 2007 hits the nail on the head like no office has before. Please try it before you start preaching about the difficulties of switching users to the ribbon, as you will find that it is more than intuitive. And for many, whether they be pirates or just well off, the cost is irrelevant.
This proves it, Wired magazine really does find artifacts from the future (see pg 176 Wired 14.8) I can't wait for someone to invent al the other stuff they've found!
I skipped out on the states two years ago, and have been working on and off at low paying labor jobs...
In the terribly recessed germany economy...
and I'm making a killing. I've saved more money in the last two years than I could have in the preivious ten. My living standards have gone up, I have health care, the doctor even makes house calls. The unversities are free* and I don't have to listen to all the rancid lies pouring out of the $hrubs mouth...
I'm sorry for my everyone back in the states, but you have to realize that the Idea of America the great place to live is false... I've seen better places to live in Bosnia than in Texas...
Maybe the U.S. will shape up, but either way I'm giving congrats to India, and hoping that they use their economic boom to raise the living standard for the general Indian populace.
I for one welcome our new quantum lords,
And I offer them a gift of Schrodinger?s perpetually floating feline. (you know, the one in the black box with buttered toast glued to his back)
now all we need is a little reverse engineering, and some start-up capital and we can sell our new cancer pill that kill viruses...
try new aids begone, its tumorific
The stoned age did not end because of a lack of mary jane, but because of an increase in secret goverment funding pushed through the "just say no" programs (you remember nancy's one brested phone sex?).... O you said stone age... no Im sure they had plenty of mary jane back then...
After you tape the toast to the cat, you have to seal it in a blackbox, flip the box over, the cat will be suspended by the conflicted laws of phsics. unfortunetly you cannot observe it, as soon as you open the box, the cat will have eaten the toast. an interesting note, while the cat is in the box, and unobserved, he knows the correct keys to all possible encryptions. Dont tell the humane society OK...
I understand your dismay, but gentoo does work on older machines. I have compiled it to a PII klamath, with little to no trouble. You do have to compensate your savings on older hardware with the extra compile time, but it pays back with the speed of its optimized execution. Gentoo will still accept RPMs, DEBs and other bin forms, and they have stage three tarballs with complete bins as well. For older harware I would not choose SuSE anyways, as it is a bit on the bloated side, and if I'm using old hardware for somthing I want it lean, and specific in purpose.
Note to posters, a gps does not track you, it tracks the BYRD. to give your location to big brother it must send a signal, such as having your call triangulated, or (evil) it could call out and snitch on you...
If they keep combining all the gadgets, Ill only have one multipurpose gadget, thats like geekdom in a thong. NO ONE SHOULD WANT THAT
I find SuSE to be a bit rough on the updates, and the live cd, no download thing is not acceptable. Dont get me wrong I like suse, and I paid for boxed sets of 6, 6.1, 7, 8, but its just not worth it anymore. Gentoo gives me all the bleeding edge that I can handle, with a 10th the fuss, and its free, AS IN BEER.
People still buy cd's?
Have you heard the crap on the radio, PLEASE COPY PROTECT ALL OF IT... I DONT WANT TO SEE IT ON MY SERVER....
NO J/K. dont buy it, support your local artists instead.. small venue forever.
STEP ONE: Develop powerful AI
STEP TWO: Build AI BW CLUSTER
STEP THREE: ?????
STEP FOUR: PROFIT
POSTLOG: After the creation of AI, the AI developed an OS that was both stable, and easy, and it had games too. Then they eliminated the organics, so we wouldnt PHUCK it up...
Linus and Gates were enshrined... alive in silicon, as a deterent to the drones....
Software can be developed on the bazaar, because your primary investment is time, not equipment, telecoms, on the other hand need infrustructure.
The function on the landfill and the trackhome method. each major telco pours their trash (capital and infrustructure) into the pit hoping it will be enough, and that they will be the lucky land developer. at first they fail. when the pit is full someone will be able to build the perm-net we all want, we just need a couple dozen more failures first...
You dont need IT experiance to lead or start in that position, your not doing the grunt work in a firm that size. you hire experts to handle the IT and consulting part. His job was to assemble the crew, and steer the ship (into the rocks...). It dosent seem to me to need to be listed as IT consulting background. rather as executive experiance. the skills you need there are sneakiness, a lack of morals, and an absence of ethics classes. I think he has already demonstrated those skills quite well.
I wish him good luck, as I make a note to keep his connections out of my portfolio...
Guess that depends on how many digits the user id is.
Oh I wish I had mod points for this; +1 comedic truth
