Customer: What is the holdup in bringing out the new chip?
Intel Rep.: We have recently uncovered some "anomolies" within the chip itself
Customer: Would it slow down my computer?
Intel Rep.: No...
Customer: Would it damage my mobo or HD?
Intel Rep.: No...
Customer: Then what is this "anamoly" about?
Intel Rep.: We forgot to make it un-"OC"able OK?!?!
Customer: Ummm wait....

Hey Dipshit just for your information I'm a reserve in Fort Ethan so you can go STFU because I'm sure that I'm doing more for this country than you are JACKASS!!!!
To the commenter above, those are Mini R/C rovers, they are bigger and do not fight each other (thoguh they are hella kool too). I know that ThinkGeek is selling the Tiny R/C Digi Q Cars, but Moe Moe wants a tank to help fight in Iraq against Bush's "evil do-ers"!
If I recall correctly, ThinkGeek was selling a USB George Formann grill that could also be controlled over the net and programmed as a network device for April 1st.... GIVE UP THESE DAMN APRIL FOOLS TACTICTS, I GIVE IN!!
**waves white flag**
Seriously though, why the hell would you need a networked microwave, those tings heat stuff up at hyper speed as it is. As for the cooling part.... Cool!
Back in my day we would kill for those Legacy based PC's, I remember a time where the i386 and 8mb of ram would be some fancy stuff, but nooooo... these days all you whipper snappers want is speed and pretty colors on your pretty little flat panel doohickies, well I remem...

IMHO I think that free softwarte isn't what's damaging Linux, it's the release of something to early or without open source that makes thigns unusable. Hell, I don't remember paying for WinZip (shareware I know but good for my point) but it is essential if I need to get something from that damn.zip extension
I fear my PC, but only because it tells me to. Seriously though, I think that computer technology advancements shouldn't be so troublesome because it's all a matter of keeping up with the times. I know that learning new things and breaking new technological barriers may be complex, but if you think about it, computers from the old days (i386 anyone?) were just as complex to people in that day and age as well, only through adaptation of new technology will we be able to see its uses and only through learning those uses will we be able to make it something worth using (Darwin; survival of the fittest anyone?).
**Mods: If I used to many big words for you just rate "Interesting";)**
They failed to mention it in the article, but since the DynaTac was such a huge and priceless piece, it came with its own anti-theft measures... Simply take the phone, throw it at the head of the thief, and watch him go down from the impact of that huge thing.
Small note: read a little more carefully next time around, it's for "instructions on getting any electronic free" and BTW the picture shows a Rio MP3 player...
I thought April Fools was over, who really wanted a ReplayTV in the first place? The Rio players weren't so bad but this was bound to happen because they didn't even seem to TRY to compete with TiVo...
Now men can enjoy the benefits of vibration too!
Oh wait...
You know you're too damn lazy when your computer has to decide what music you like and when to play it for you.
GTA3, the gift that keeps on giving (blood), and giving (car jacking), and giving (hookers), and...
Now share your joy of giving with friends and family by kicking the crap out of each other online!

One thing's for damn sure, White Space isn't leaving the market shelf anytime soon ;)
In reality, this is just a way for computer monitors to get back at us for staring at them constantly for 16 hours a day...
What they meant to say is: Free (as in beer)
Everyone just calls me SAFH ;)
How long until we are able to hack these things into decent webservers running Linux?

Hasn't anyone else here used a rail gun before? Oh wait... We're back in reality, oops...

And chicken guts produce gold, or is it food? I forget...
If this ever became real... I could just imagine:
:)
Borg Gates: Resistance is futile, close your source, you will be assimilated
BSD Deamon: Never! I'll use my pitchfork of power, and my feather pen of code to destroy you Bill!
Borg Gates: There's cash involved, lots of cash... Join the collective, resistance is futile
BSD Daemon: Hmmm green backs, or red devil source code... Oh hell with it! Las Vegas, here I come!
Luckily this could never happen since devils (and daemons) don't really have souls to begin with
Atleast we'll know when someone using Microsoft is snooping around ;)
