if you want the most flexiblity get a google nexus tablet. you want the easy setup get either a nook or kindle fire.
I love my nook tablet for reading and web surfing it is easy to hold on to and a decent size. the only draw back is that the stock OS sucks. if I root it i might as well get a full google tablet anyways.

Sure excel may be open most of the day so i can VIEW spreadsheets but that doesn't mean I am editing them all day long. I find the ribbon to be a big help to those who aren't power users and since the majority aren't it works out quite well.

Considering two electric vehicles would double the current electrical usage for the majority of homes.
And lastly the range of current electric vehicles isn't anywhere close to being useful. I live in the city where GM developed the EV. you barely see the cars in the summer and never in the winter as the range just isn't there.
100 miles sounds good in theory but if you turn on the air conditioning you get 50-60, you turn on the radio and head lights it is cut down even more.
