  8. Dangerous? on More on SCO Code Snippets · · Score: -1

Isn't it dangerous for these code snippets to be out in the public? What if something from one of them is accidentally included in an open source project; SCO might then have a legit claim.

  10. ESA? on Satellite-Assisted European Road Tolls Next? · · Score: -1

The ESA will never reach the heights that NASA reached 40 years ago. It's a well known fact that European universities just don't have the same level of engineering programs that can be found in any good public college in the US. When you add MIT, Cornell, Cal Tech, and other great private schools, Europe seems about as mature as Linux against NT.

Our strong tradition of capitalism means that the people can choose for themselves what needs to be produced and who needs to produce it. We've had plenty of time for strong infastructure and health care to arise privately.

I agree with you that public health care and public monopolies on water and electricity are bad things, but once the Iraqis are on their feet, these things can be privatized, resulting in the cheapest, best service for consumers.

Also, OS X is great for beginners, but even my four year old needs more power and flexability from an operating system than this OS can provide. It's pretty but non-functional, which is a shame.
