    Not even that, one of those rare-earth neodymium magnets will do. I fail to see how giving the HDD once over with these will still yield recoverable data. Those who doubt this obviously hadn't had their fingers bruised by them before. Still fun to play with, just keep them then hell away from your PC.

    I'm not surprised either. Turnover rate is high and many of them are students working part-time. Once I had a cashier insisting that I present a photo ID along with my photo credit card. I politely pointed out that the whole point of having a photo on my credit card is so that I won't have to show my driver licence, which in my case is the same exact picture. "Store policy," she said, at which point I understood that she's a new trainee and must have felt it's better to be safe than sorry. So I showed my ID and everybody's happy. I guess my point is: try not to confuse the poor cashier.

    I personally believe there are different types of support personnel. One type bares his butt cheeks when bending under the table to fix something. The other type doesn't.

    BMW keys can have their codes changed at the dealership. Just bring the title document and they'll do it for all your keys. I think they charge $100 for labor or something. Besides, the complaint is about the house keys.

    This idiot lost his 2003 BMW with keys to the house, and sat on his butt waiting for insurance to pay for a set of locks, until his other car got stolen too. If he can afford a bimmer in the first place, he can certainly afford a $200 set of locks at Home Depot. That moron deserves to have his other car stolen.

    I have two 1006 and one 1009. They're very nice-looking. Pricy, but you also pay a premium for Apple's style.

    Amercans pay 15-35% in Federal taxes, plus up to 11% state income tax (Montana). The Koreans pay 5-10%, total. The disposal income narrows dramatically after you figure in taxes. An American earning 100K will take home about 70K on average. But food and everyday items in Korea are 1/2 the cost compare to U.S. So a Korean will probably only have to earn 40K to have the same purchasing power.

    Believe it or not, the drug trade is alive and well in southern China. Lots drugs cross the border from Burma, and in increasing quantities. And yes they do execute drug traffickers.

    I very rarely download new Hollywood movies anymore, since as we all agree they're mostly crap. Bandwidth, which costs money, has been reallocated to pr0n. To me it seems to give me a better bang for the buck (pun intended). That and TV shows, old movies, and fansubs.
