Yeah Ok I understand your point but what bother me is that the antigambling position is a little bit absurd and hypocrite. Why don't they simply close the biggest Casino on earth the one for the richs, I am talking about the New York Stock exchange.
The next step will be to make preemptive strikes by knocking down any machine that we suspect of being operated by an inexperienced user who could possibly not update/protect is computer into turning in a "zombi DOS machine".
All options could be considered including nuclear strikes against AOL head quarters...
Wow! those will look great in the front pocket of my short sleeves white shirt. The same pocket where I put my calculator.
At last we nerds will star to look cool and all those stereotypes will go away...;)
The blow job is not on February 14 but for the next month (mars 14) a festivity that is much more compatible with guys needs.

Who knows maybe there is some folk out there who really enjoy is job as "Flatus Odor Judge"?
Each slashdotuser should take the resolution to fill a lawsuit against SCO and convince two other people to do the same. The reason can be anything. I don't know in the US but here in Canada, Quebec there is different level of courts and for claims under 3000$ you can sue without a lawyer. Its like a DOS but with law suits;)
We forgot that, judges are most of the time technologically uneducated, that it is only in the movie that truth and/or the honest people always win that OJ Simpson went free and that G. W. Bush kind of won the election thanks to some judges.
Well this paper seams pretty divisive to me!

Why when it comes the time to buy the Hardware the argument is "...if you want editing capabilities, you need horsepower" and then when its time to speak about software only the "el cheapo" (open source) solution is the right one?
In other words why is it better to go with closed hardware architecture and open source than open hardware architecture and closed software?
Actually I refer to myself as a Euro-Spanio-Canado-Francophone cause I was born in Spain but live in French Canada. English is my third language so sorry for the imperfections.

Hey kid I just did put some facts in your face that's all. There is an expression we use up here that goes like this : "if the hat fit in your head, keep it!" If you feel guilty for something this is not my problem so calm down. If you like to shove your head in the sand because this is the patriotic thing to do, go ahead it is your right.
Your violent answer calling me a clown really did not impressed me. In my opinion violent people are simply weak minds who are not able to resolve their conflicts any other way. Terrorists fit very well in this definition and China leaders who violate human rights two. (And also any other leader of any other country including mine, Canada.)
...I understand your love for your country, but really this isn't a very good way to make points for your side...

What a bunch of villains! Putting in jail those people without bringing charges and without given them a right to a lawyer. How can a civilized country act like that in the XXI century?
Wait a minute I think there is another country doing the same thing right now...
SCO has great opportunity in the future to let Linux keep going, not to put it on its back but for us to get a transaction fee every time it's sold. That's really our goal.
Every time I hear about the SCO case and how they defend it, I think about this satire article published in Toms Hardware on the 1 of April 2003 a couple of month before SCO made their move. I think Maybe McBride probably got the idea from there!
Now, maybe Tom should think of suing SCO for making a bad rip-off of is joke?;)
Affordable to the computer illiterates that instead of passing hours whining about other people success and masturbating in front of the last Linux distro have to manage their time between their job as a CEO, the SPA with 10 playboy centerfolds and some weekly trip around the world.;)
I really like the concept of a space elevator it will be possible in a couple of years. The problem is that once this thing is build just think of what will happen if that thing break or if some one decide to ride a plane on it. That thing will fall on earth killing thousands of peoples. Anyway I still hope there is a way to build this safely.
Haaaa finally sco stocks are going down. In the last couple of months uninformed stupid investors where boosting the price of sco by buying the stocks that the high ranking employees where selling like crazy. I hope this is the beginning of a ride to hell. Since the beginning of this week SCO lost the quarter of its value. Hope panic will ensue on monday...

The simplest answer to SCO alegations; They are going down !
"Looks like they bit off more than they can chew..."
But through it all, when there was "FUD";
They ate it up and litigate it out;
They sue them all and they stood dull;
And did it Microsoft way!

It could be a good idea to make a public black list of SCO license buyers!

Well, I live in Quebec and Hydro-Qebec is our famous "Hydroelectricity government own company" with a reputation of doing what they announce.
:)
If they say they gona do it and they think it will work fine I have no reason to doubt their announcements.
Our Broadband services are already dirt cheap in Montreal and this can only drive them lower.
Whoo hoo!!!!
