who cares, its not like they deserve to have their name pronunced right. why not just pronounce it "hermaphroditic sea snail" like i do, its much more fun that way.
btw, SCO is an acronym meaning Santa Cruz Operation, so i assume it would technically be S-C-0 and i think i did read somewhere that that is how its said .
i dont know if you have ever actually read the back of a dvd. some of the ones i have read actually say that you may not lend, rent, or borrow the dvd.
last i tried to messege some one on aim while i was in icq, it came to no avail. and it was less than a year ago. either u are mistaken, or i am. in the latter case, please inform me on how to accomplish this feat.
to us, this would seem like more than enough evidence to put SCO down. But, we all know how our government and society deal justice, like with the previously mentioned chewplastic.com, so im not gonna jump to conclusions, but rather wait till the final results are in.
i was wondering why he chose to rotate X. to me it would make more sense to have a widscreen than tallscreen. or was there some problem running it widescreen?
anyway, its a bit pricey at $1,700
the difference between bill and linus in this case is that bill FORCES it on you, linus does not. and my guess it that this feature WONT be bundled, per se (not a defaultly enabled feature), but just another option u can choose to use when you make menuconfig, like isdn support or telephony support.
did you try enabling pictures? thats why it didnt work for me at first, i had them disabled from when i went to warez sites so i wouldnt see nasty pictures:)
thats right, i read my isp's tos. i didnt want them to screw me over sometime in the future. it said something about not hacking and how they are not responsible for acts of God.
P.S. God would Ow/\/ comcast in a second if he wanted
that is the sickest joke ever! i believed it for a few seconds and almost died of joy and surprise. then i entered the stage of doubt: how do they jump from 0.16.5 to 1.0? a few days ago didnt he say that had a ways to go? then i remembered...
i have heard of ipv6 and have a vague idea of what it is, but could someone elaberate? why arent we already using it as de facto, and what are the ups and downs to it?
whoever made up that add has to be a n00b. hackers and crackers (wich i believe is the word they ment) are smart enuf that eventually they will be able to hack it. anything is hackable, it just takes sk1llz and time. plus, this is microshaft we are talking about. i mean, they make windows for crying out loud.
if u dont have a windows install, u can extract the data from ur cds with these toolz:
http://icculus.org/~ravage/nwn/nwn_linux_installer.run
http://members.cox.net/monteslu/nwn_data_installer.run
their may be issues since the stuff extracted from the cds arent patched up to 1.29, but i cant say for sure. reply with info and/or tips if u have any
i saw on distrowatch.com that slack 9 was released 2 days ago, but when i went to slackware.com, it said that slack 9.0rc-1 was released. rc stands for release candidate, correct? is there anything actually different between the rc and the final?
