Wow deep deep post there, really pulled at my heart strings...
Little news flash for you sparky, when people take your things that's illegal. I suppose you won't mind if I steal your car because you can just buy another one, or get a bus pass, or ride a fecking bike.
That's what we're trying to roll out at my company.. it's taken a back burner though, because of more pressing issues, seems very slick though, ties in well to Windows (you know.. that pesky OS that damn near everyone uses).
Anywho.. the version control (read: Jenna J videos through the years) and tie-ins with Office make the transition from using a network drives a little easier.
I don't believe my country is in need to have a military that rivals the size of the US or any other power. I am an advocate of having a strong defence force, I think it's a shame that we've let our equipment become as broken down as it is.
While I may not be a fan of our new administration they have promised to upgrade our men and women in the forces!
Using WinAmp Lite v5.11 w/Classic Skin. 25G music collection with a little over 4 200 songs. It took up 24 megs on my WinXP Pro box a few minutes ago, I minimized it to the taskbar and voi-la! 1.5 megs of ram. BUT the only catch is that when it swaps songs it jumps back up to 18 megs... Might be lazy coding, might just be by design (ie. Lazy Coding).
Try that, you'll find if you minimize a lot of your programs you'll save the GUI from wasting memory keeping it refreshed on your screen.
...hard work and actual vision of people like Tim Berners-Lee .
Uh I think you misspelt Al Gore's name
Actually those were hookers... probably just made their way up from Dalhousie and Clarence.

Man it is so weird to hear a comment like that on this site! Kudos!
So now all of a sudden my way of life is labelled "fraud"... bloody hippies...
Same here! But it's the broken record of the OSS... If you keep repeating something you'll believe it one day? HA!
Ahhh yes and I see the apologists labeled you a troll as well.. typical...

All I asked for were some sharks with some freekin' "laser" beams on their head... What do we have?
Very true, given it's a toss up for me usually one which sleeping aid I should use, college basketball or competitive bowling.

Touché, but they get past the Sens only to lose to whoever is next (generally Philly) :D
:D
They've gotta rebuild! Mail the season in!
Thank you, I needed to get my daily dig in about hockey :)
... Now you can just pop on the WiFi network to see how badly your team is losing at any given moment! Go Sens!
Thank You!! I feel like it's being wasted here! hehe
Yes... That's what we wanted you to Believe!!
No, But it does go to 11
Amazing how the open source chest-thumpers can turn news of a piece of hardware in to a Windows bashing platform... Bravo.
I PRAY that is sarcasm...
