Remember, Apple isn't a software only company, where as microsoft is. Sure, people might start installing Linux instead of OSX or whatever, but mac lovers will love macs, shoot, I'm a pc person and I love the design of macs. Mac Hardware is awesome, as you said, their laptops are awesome too. Apple machines are very trendy, as for the OS, doesn't really matter
Seeing how its been slashdotted, how high does the PS2 cluster, if it is even in there, rank? If it is really high, I suppose we can imagine daisy chaining a bunch of modded xboxs.
I've noticed that an increase in mac clock speed is actually noticeable, especially in comparison to pc clock speeds. I suppose it might be because our PCs today are fast enough to handle most application,s where as on macs, they are trying to find every ounce of power
My Favorite rumor must have been when bloomberg reported that the PS3 was going to get released this year. I'm an xbox fan, and I want to see the XBOX suceed, so I was like holy crap and went around searching for other sources. Pretty funny.
I agree, The hours that the child spends playing games isn't the only thing that is controlled, but just in general, the child listening to his/her parents. I mean, are you going to get a device that makes the kid do his homework, go to bed, drink milk among other things. Being a parent isn't an easy thing, I think, Sure, having devices like these are great and sometimes usefull, but kids are going to have to learn how to listen to their parents and not be forced to do something because a box is making them.

Well, Microsoft needs to do something in order to cut cost, and ATI produces, with cost lover than nVidia. For the first xbox, nVidia was a last minute desision, I believe. Similar to Intel and AMD, Microsoft is MAKING them compete, create new technoglogy with lower prices.
Well, a free game released by the United States Army, free of cheating, thats got to be a joke. Now with a linux port, I'm expectin cheating to soar. Luckily I only played this game for the first two months after release, now I just play on Xbox Live, which so far has been cheat free, unless you consider glitch using a cheat, and most people don't do it anyways. I friend of mine was bragging about how he was able to create an auto aimer... how nice...
Is it really good press coverage, after reading this article, I hate the RIAA even more. What kind of a person/organization takes away someones life savings, for simply creating a peice of software that catalogues university files.
I suppose the sneakers/shoes most people wear that are made my children in vietnam and other countries doesn't apply? fact of the matter is, sure it matters who makes, it, but if the end product is good, most people don't care so much.
if the harddrive less PS2 can compete with a microsoft xbox that does contain a harddrive, why is sony creating a new playstation two that contains a huge harddrive? Sure, they could also include the maps on the disc, but the fact that you can get new content, in the future makes the difference for me. Yes, a proud owner of the xbox
Microsoft ought to turn this game into a xbox exclusive, only releasing it for xbox, pc, and possibly mac if he expects an edge, or gain in the console wars. Clearly, the first spintercell was one of xbox's strongest selling points, except for the fact that it came out on every console a few months later.
Argh, those of us who took a gamble on another one of microsofts video game products are screwed again because of a newer, better release. I would like tetris for free, but I get motogp and Wacked... I bought Ghost recon, I love it, and Mech assult, not so much. I guess it was worth the extra 4 months of playing thou
