Ok great idea but Star Trek needs to push the limits of social thinking and be contraversial as well. Combine the two concepts and then people will rush to watch the show.
Exactly. What made Black Isle truely great left the company already. Fallout 2 suffered and had a weak weak ending. The developers were riding the talent of the Troika guys and just couldn't close out the game design. To me Black Isle closing doesn't matter. It's like a famous band that has already lost the talented members and then breaking up years later. You don't miss the band, you miss the real talent that left already.
I agree. Economics and crime rate are tied together. Though sometimes I think goverments keep slum and poverty areas intact just as an example for those who work, as examples to what happens if you stop being a frenzied life consumed worker making money for the country.
Jez San.. Yep I remember Star Glider 1 and 2 for the Atari ST. Brilliant. Man how those Star Glider 2 blew me away, then Jez went on to help develope Star Fox for the Super Nintendo, which inlcuded a DSP just to run Jez's code 3d. Jez helped make those games great.
McKinley was perhaps the best multiplayer map ever. Friends of mine at the college I worked and myself played that map over and over until un Godly hours in the morning. That was the map to play. I had to stop playing because I was actually getting sick from lack of sleep. But man o man was that fun.
Yep me to. One of the best Sega break through classics. That time period produced some of the best arcade music ever and most of it was from Sega. Remember Quartet. Sega produced art no doubt about it.
Get a hair cut, pratice proper hygine and get in shape. You will be amazed how much better your chances will be with the opposite sex. Ohh, forgot to add that you need to get out more because your skin is so damn pale.
Everytime I go to the post office and jump in the always long lines I'm glad I have my cell phone. I play solitare, blackjack and Commanche (2D). It helps pass the routine 30 minute wait.
As a music producer it will be great to have an alternative to the Windows aps such as Sonar, Cubase and Nuendo. I never quite felt that Windows was friendly enough to fully accomodate professional music production. I'm not sure is Linux is more real time audio friendly and condusive to low latency (Sub 10 ms) audio. Any opinions on this?
I got to talk to one of the designers about beta testing but it seemed that the language barrier stopped me from getting closer to being a tester. I've been a Gundam fan since 1980 and it would be nice to see this game completed though. I hope they work out communications problems because this could be a huge game.
That's right. As a musician I'm afraid of working with many of these lables as I know the horror stories of musicians from the past and present. Only the elite musicians are happy with their contracts and even then if they knew what was going on behind the Labels finacial books they would not be to happy.
"The format isn't copyrighted, the poem itself
is."
Exactly. This is what most consumers logically think. The content distrubutors use the distributed media as a form of control and recursive profiting. Once a consumer has access to a perfect copy (Which is now possible in this new digital age) the corporations see this as a threat to cyclic profit making. What the digital age has done is destroy this old world model. Every person can see this but the controlling industries can not. Actually they can but would like to use their power to enforce this obsolete model and enslave the consumer to their wills.
It's always good to see more of Sean Bean. He helped contribute to Fellowships many themes in brotherhood and friendship. More footage of a movie that should probably even be longer is a good thing. It can't arrive soon enough.
V was an event series for the entire neighborhood. Everyone talked about it and as kids we ate it up. Now in retrospect it holds up except for a few bad plot elements but after buying the DVDs I enjoyed the the series alot. Of course Michael Ironside is super cool as Ham Tyler playing one of his typical bad ass roles and Mark Singer does a solid job bringing home some gut wrenching points. "Because my wife, my kid and the whole damn town is up there!" Also Marks previous movie Beast master was fun chezzy kids entertainment but really didn't showcase anyones acting skills. It would be good to see Mark and Mike back for even brief roles in the new series, older wiser and perhaps worn down by years of fighting.
All those years of my friends and other movie fans proclaiming the good of Widescreen have payed off. With large TV screen sizes coming out for the cheap Wide Screen is now an obvious choice.
Ahhh there are so many. Everyone has touched on something I liked from the old skool funky coolness of the Apple/Atari to the modern consoles and PC titles. I could write for hours on games as art and sources of inspiration. I'll save it for a slashdot article in the future.
Good call. The news does this alot not even mentioning the.Com bust or downturn in the economy thus misrepresenting the facts. Get fact straight first and then publish=logic!

Hampton Roads... my apologies.

I like this Lessig fellow. Seems like an honest person.
Good post. Logic prevails.
