What about hydrairc? It's got a really nice layout, especially if you're on multiple IRC networks and multiple channels. Much better than any of the competetion IMO (xchat, mirc, trillian).
No. The part that bends is seperated by the divider in the middle, so pushing one side doesn't push the other. It's no harder than doing it on a normal mouse. Instead of a hinge (or whatever it is on a normal mouse), it just bends a little.
They're right where they should be. Just press down:). The silver part isn't attached to the greyish-blackish part at the button-end, so it depresses nicely.
I did point out to them that they are going to have a problem with people selling their copies and still using the cdkey on their accounts since steam doesn't require the cd to be in the drive.
Which is a good thing. Why should I have to carry around a bundle of cd's just so I can find the right one to stick in the computer when I played a game. Usually one of the first things I do when I buy a game that has this arcane requirement is to download a no-cd patch. Copy protection only hurts the paying customers.
No, it would be more equatable to quarter-life because the term half-life tends to mean the time it takes for a radioactive chemical to degerate to half the size it was previously.
I don't know why, but I find it ironic that the only paper I ever cheated on in High school or college was the paper on Great Gatsby my Junior year of high school. Damn that book sucked and I didn't understand it at all. I didn't copy/paste the entire paper, but I was very liberal with reading another person's paper and just changed a lot of the words. Even re-reading it again and having a teacher explain it to me a second time didn't help. I guess I'm terrible at reading and getting meanings that are embedded in three layers deep. I ended up doing my paper on the symbolism of colours in different areas meaning different things, or something like that. Good thing I've paid off that bad karma by now (hopefully at least).
Err that's what I get for not using preview.. Better:
That's what I said.. "The only addition of permissions in moz is being able to link to other file: locations." By link I don't just mean <a href>. <iframe> can link too, and since they're the same "zone", you can read their innerHtml, which usually contains the contents of the file.
"Local Zone" in IE means you get access to a lot of ActiveX objects that aren't allowed in web objects, like ADODB.Stream, which can actually *write* files to your hard drive.

Except this would allow text files (on your hard drive) to be parsed as html files (and get the javascript associated with them). However, it's not earthshattering as it would be in IE because if it were IE, it would get extra "local zone" permissions. The only addition of permissions in moz is being able to link to other file: locations.
# 251381 new libpng buffer overflow vulnerabilities # okay that is an exploit
However, this exploit also happens in IE, so it's not a Mozilla specific bug. Score one for Mozilla for getting it out faster than M$.
#253121 lock icon and certificates spoofable with onunload docume... # that is not an exploit either
Yes it is. Check out the second test case in the attachments of the bug. Phishing would be very easy if this bug was not quashed as fast as it was.
In your own touch typing system that you've developed, do the "natural" keyboards that microsoft came out with a few years ago (I think logitech has one too, among others) impede you using them? I've found I can't use them because certain keys in the middle are on the wrong side of the split.. Like I use my right hand to type the letter b, whereas it's on the left side of the keyboard.
Back in *my* day, my handhelds only had one screen, four colours, three of which were green and the other was a different green. Of course, I'm only 21 so I don't know..
One of the features of RDP is that you can automagically not have it show the remote desktop image. So I suggest you allow yourself to have something pretty on the background of your monitor when no applications are running.
Is it me, or does the shirt remind anyone else of a Star Trek Medical Uniform? Certainly the type of person that would want to wear one of these shirts. (For the record my parents were members of a Star Trek club in Sacramento, and I participated some when I was a child)
Why not "Help I'm having a heart attack.. wait let me send these electric wires into your heart and send some current to restart it." Seems better to me:)
Create a shortcut on the desktop to the program you want, right click->properties, then click on the shortcut key box, then press win-a, and then click ok. It might work from the quick launch too.
there's a significant difference when there's dependencies involved.. For instance `emerge mythtv` is much more simple than tar xzvf mythtv.tar.gz; cd mythtv; configure -prefix=...; make; make install, since there's about 20 other different packages it installs first. A moderate plus is that there is significantly less typing the former than the ladder.
The three times I've gone in for one of these mobo/cpu combo's they've had them in stock (at the Sacramento store at least). They use cheap ECS motherboards, but they still work. Also, the $90 for the retail version comes with a fan -- this mobo/cpu combo doesn't, so add another $20-30 to it.

Hmm.. What's this vote for John Bush?

67% of people are more gulliable than average.

Whoops that's the wrong deleted scene. This is the one I meant:

(or google for holo.wmv)

Sorry, I couldn't resist posting this. Mod me down if you want.

This is what slashdot does when you try to check their feeds too often.

Poker is a sport! Get it in athens: http://www.pokerinathens.org/
How do you play "defense" in any of the track and field games, swimming, gymnastics, figure skating, etc. Certainly these are sports.

You would hope that you can click on aim: links in the browser, yet I wouldn't want the browser to know what exactly aim: is doing. You are comparing apples to oranges. Saying you tricked the browser to run unlink(foo) rather than exec("rm foo") is different than trusting an arbitrary protocol that is already set up in windows.
