They already have (see also here). Also, check out OpenCL. OpenCL is the future, we've begun testing/working with it at my office for calculation engine. It's still in its' infancy, but it can only get better!
Considering how much we all love Clippy, I think that fact actually lends credibility to this study. He must have been overworked when he helped concoct Clippy.
Fuck the cost. Based solely on the slashdot summary, I feel this is the kind of phone that is near impossible to force into planned obsolescence. That alone to me makes the cost worthwhile because I wouldn't have to buy a new phone every year.
Quick question, I don't know what I did, but why the hell is slashdot restricting the number of posts I can initially see to 5? I have to press "More" to load more posts and it's irritating as hell. For big discussions (eg. 200+) I have to click AT LEAST 40 times, waiting each time for the next 5 posts to completely load. ARGH! How do I fix this?
Splinter Cell: Double Agent was a waste of money. One bug after another. I'm not touching any game developed by Ubisoft Shanghai ever again. It also sported some nasty DRM (the name of which escapes me).
Only this time the name Kazaa will be part of a legal music service. Altnet and parent company Brilliant Digital Entertainment attached the Kazaa brand to a subscription service that will offer songs and ringtones from all four of the major recording companies.
In other words, RIAA music. Avoid this new service. Don't even grace them by visiting their web site.

I have ADD and I agree.

What do you think blogs are for, exactly?

Hey, I saw this cool article on Slashdot today.
Um.. I agree to this too.
Heh.
Marry me^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H I agree.
Filter error: Don't use so many caps. It's like YELLING.
Ah well, the cops didn't stop me.
Heh, I've unwittingly jaywalked past a cop car before, did they stop me? Guess.
What the fuck?
Next thing you know, a firewall will be used to prevent actual fires.
Wait... Still, wtf?

+1 Interesting from me (if I could).
Funnily enough, PlaysForSure was discontinued, didn't you get the memo?
This is old news.

That's the first I've heard of it! WTF AT&T? [LOLCAT=Yer doin' it wrong. /]
Wouldn't work, the domain doesn't end in .com.
The outside environment is so buggy though.

Nuclear Roulette. Holy crap.
+1 Insightful (I have mod points, but I already posted and you're already at 5). :)
I can see why a name like that would require management, aren't children youth?
