Many of the anesthetics found in hospitals today are based on cocaine now (also opiates and I'm sure they're working on that too), if given this 'vaccine' you'd better not have any kind of an accident.
Oh I agree with you totally, I'm not moving off of Postfix any time soon but I do feel that Qmail had more potential originally. Its really late to release Qmail like this but fortunately there's still a lot of fans that might finally implement some modern features built in to Qmail.
I know that comment was probably meant as a joke but its probably a good idea just on a business standpoint. I don't see this Chinese economic train slowing down any time soon.
I guess that really all depends if they're using ClamAV's definition updates or not. The anti-virus engine is useless without a good list of definitions. ClamAV is pretty sweet due to the fact that you can create your own definition for a 0 day and submit it back to ClamAV while using the new definition.
I wouldn't call KTorrent 'lightweight'. Even with low CPU settins, it routinely eats up between 30% and 50% of my CPU cycles, with spikes in the 100% (old P4-M 1.6 GHz) If you think that sucks try Azureus

I understand the idea of cloning the "ideal" animal but is it really more cost effictive to the standard breeding? This seems pointless as the standard way of producing new life has to be cheaper than repoducing a "super tasty" existing one. Even if there is one that is ideal there can only be one or two reproductions before basic evolution would take over (disease and/or enviromental situations).
They innovated in the form of a new business paradigm, a market where a common operating system would run on multiple vendor's hardware.
Actually MS didn't originally write MSDOS/PCDOS, it was originally written by Seattle Computer Products and later sold to IBM. Even Windows was a rip off of MAC OS (which was a rip off of the Xerox Alto. I would say so far they've only innovated great marketing techniques and a habbit of using other peoples ideas.
I also find that banging pots together and lighting fires will usually keep fellow office workers at bay as well. I'm just getting tired of having to tie my lunch to really high trees to keep them from bothering me in the first place.
I don't know if this is true with every state but in Colorado my signiture is on my drivers license. With my bank card its probably pretty easy to forge my signature. Why wouldn't you accept the See ID or CID? My ID has my picture and my signature, there probably wont be enough time for someone to make a fake ID before I cancel the card and thus looking at my ID will probably be more of an assurance than just looking at some scribbles on the back of my card.
A couple more versions, and they'll probably have caught up to/surpassed what you get with a Mac or XP system. GUI-wise, anyway. Underneath it's already better.
Although the beauty of the WM/DE is completely subjective I have found kde-look.org to be a great source of beautifying KDE. If you look through there you can find people that have their desktop looking alot like or exactly like Mac OS X or Windows XP (if you're into that sort of thing).

This is very true, however if you read the paper linked in the article.
TCP Timestamps option from RFC 1323 [13] whereby, for performance purposes, each party in a TCP flow includes information about its perception of time in each outgoing packet. A fingerprinter can use the information contained within the TCP headers to estimate a device's clock skew and thereby fingerprint a physical device. We stress that one can use our TCP timestamps-based method even when the fingerprintee's system is maintained via NTP [19]. While most modern operating systems enable the TCP timestamps option by default, Windows 2000 and XP machines do not. Therefore, we developed a trick, which involves an intentional violation of RFC 1323 on the part of a semi-passive or active adversary, to convince Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP machines to use the TCP timestamps option in Windows-iniated flows.
I wonder if the same or similar exploit can be done under OSes.
You could always use the whole return scam. Just puchace something under $24 dollars at a store and then return it a few days later. If someone really wanted to make this worth their while they could span out returns between multiple stores and multiple days accross a larger city and make hundreds daily.
I keep hearing people say as long as you're able to see/hear/smell it you're able to record it!
Last night my girfriend made the most wonderfull smelling muffins so I decided to record the smell using my camcorder. When I tried to replay the smell all I could smell was a dusty TV. Do you think the FCC has allready placed a broadcast flag for smells in camcorders?!!
I say he's just creating reasonable doubt for his own mp3 collection.

Qmail, IMO would have been far superior to postfix had this happened 5 years ago.
Poke out his eyes, problem sovled
Quiet man, I'm trying to sell them some more public domain stuff.
